There are only few studies on the agronomic characters and the content of medicinal components of Platycodon grandiflorum germplasm resources in different locations.In this study,Platycodon grandiflorum slices from different locations was collected throughout the country and analyzed the content of medicinal components in Platycodon grandiflorum from different places in the medicinal material market.The seeds of Platycodon grandiflorum germplasm resources from different regions of China were collected and planted in the same place,and their agronomic characters and medicinal components were compared and analyzed in order to explore and evaluate the characteristics of different Platycodon grandiflorum germplasm resources.By planting seeds of different germplasm resources in different locations of Jilin Province(northern cold region),the main characters of different Platycodon grandiflorum germplasm resources in different locations,the changes of medicinal components and their relationship with soil nutrients were discussed.Through research,the following conclusions are·drawn:1、There were only 7 samples whose content of Platycodon grandiflorum platycodin D reached the standard of 2015《The edition of Pharmacopoeia of the people’s Republic of China》among the 43 samples of Platycodon grandiflorum,accounting for only 16.28%of the total number of samples,Among them,the standard rate of platycodin D content of Platycodon grandiflorum samples from Shandong was 100%,and that of Northeast China and Inner Mongolia was 0%.2、Yangeng 0303,Yangeng 0410,Hebeichengde 2 and Bozhou 1 were ranked in the top four among the 21 germplasm resources,of which the agronomic characters of Yangeng 0303 and Yangeng 0410 ranked first and second respectively,but the content of Platycodon grandiflorum platycodin D of Yangeng 0303 was only 0.15%,which was suitable for edible Platycodon grandiflorum breeding material or breeding variety.The content of Platycodon grandiflorum platycodin D in Yangeng 0410 is 0.2198%which was suitable to be used as medicinal and edible Platycodon grandiflorum breeding material or to breed varieties.The platycodin D content of Hebeichengde 2 and Bozhou 1 was 0.5041%and 0.4893%,respectively,but the agronomic characters were general.It is suitable to be used as a breeding material for medicinal Platycodon grandiflorum or to cultivate a new variety of Platycodon grandiflorum for medicine after improving individual characters.Haerbinjinlong has the lowest comprehensive performance.3、The correlation degree between each character and platycodin D content was as follows:lateral root number>stem diameter>aboveground fresh weight>plant height>root length>single root fresh weight>root diameter.4、The results of cluster analysis showed that 21 Platycodon grandiflorum germplasm resources could be divided into 4 groups.The first group had 9 germplasm resources,mainly from the northern region,accounting for 42.7%.The second group only had Yangeng 0303,which came from Japan,accounting for 4.8%.The third group only had Shaanxi,accounting for 4.8%.The fourth group had 10 materials,mainly from the south,accounting for 52.4%.5、The off-site tests of 4 varieties(strains)in 5 sites showed that the comprehensive performance of each character of 4 varieties(lines)was different after planting in different locations,and the overall performance was generally better in Taobei,and the performance of different strains was different in different locations,and the comprehensive performance of Yangeng 0410 and Yangeng 0303 was the best in Taobei,the performance of Yangeng 0410 was the worst in Kuaidamao,while the comprehensive performance of 0303 was the worst in Fanjiatun.,Lugeng 1 hao and Neimengchifeng had the best performance in Yanji and the worst in Fanjiatun,and the content of Platycodon grandiflorum platycodin D planted in different locations was also different,and the order of content from high to low was Kouqian>Yanji>Taobei>Fanjiatun>Kuidamao>Dandong.6、The best agronomic characters were Yangeng 0410 and Yangeng 0303,the worst was Neimengchifrng,and the third was Lugeng 1 hao after the remote experiment.The order of platycodin D content of Platycodon grandiflorum from high to low is Yangeng 0303>Neimengchifeng>Yangeng 0410>Lugeng 1 hao.7、The order of the correlation degree between the characters of the four germplasm resources and soil PH value and various indexes from high to low was basically the same except Lugeng 1 hao.The highest correlation degree was plant height,followed by single root fresh weight and root length,and the lowest correlation degree was lateral root number and platycodin D content.The plant height of four germplasm resources had high correlation with soil PH value and eight indexes of seven nutrient contents,especially with organic matter content,and the root characters(except lateral root number)of four germplasm resources were closely related to soil PH value.the root characters(except lateral root number)of the other three germplasm resources were closely related to available phosphorus except for Neimengchifeng.
