Under the background of the normalization of African swine fever and the requirements of industrial transformation and upgrading, more and more pig breeding enterprises are laying out to the downstream of the industrial chain-slaughtering and processing,in order to obtain the profits of the whole industry chain.Due to many factors such as breeds, nutrition, and different parts, the difference in morphology and chemical composition of pork is relatively large, resulting in a large difference in meat quality.Different types of meat have different nutritional value, edible value, processing use and commodity value, and each has different cooking and processing methods, which are suitable for different processing purposes[1].Under this circumstance, some parts of the meat will be favored by customers, and the price will be higher than that of other parts of the meat,so as to achieve high quality and good price, while meeting market demand, which will increase the overall economic value of the carcass. Moreover,in all links of the pig industry chain, the segmentation of pig carcass is the most direct, minimal input and effective value-added approach. To investigate pork cutting on carcass economic gain, and to study the variability loci associated with economic carcass cutting from the genomic level and apply it to breeding practice. In this study,2051 pigs were slaughtered for economical carcass cutting, including 123 Danish-American commercial pigs(binary rotational hybrid offspring[2]of Danish Landrace/Yorkshine and American Landrace/Yorkshine),977American purebred pigs(American Landrace/Yorkshine),and 951 American commercial pigs(binary rotational hybrid offspring of American Landrace and Yorkshine). After correcting different weight pigs to the same weight(population mean),the economic benefits were calculated and compared according to the direct sales of the carcass, the section segmentation(front middle and rear sections)sales and the meat segmentation(14 products)sales. The results show that the simple section segmentation sales can increase average income by 10%compared to carcass sales, while meat segmentation sales can increase revenue by 21%on average. In the section segmentation sales comparison,Danish-American commercial pigs have obvious advantages over other populations in different populations;among different weight groups, high weight group has greater advantages than other weight groups. In the meat segmentation sales comparison, the differences between the lines and the weight groups were not significant. In addition,GWAS analysis was performed by the"Zhong Xin Yi Hao"chip detection, and 41 SNP locis closely related to economic carcass cutting traits were identified. In summary, the segmentation of the carcass can clearly mention the economic value of carcass, and the different ways of segmentation between different populations have different magnitudes of value enhancement. After the same population corrects the same weight, the difference in the proportion of different segmentation products leads to a large range of economic benefits after segmentation, and the population mean of economic returns differs from the higher economic returns individually. The choice space is still quite large. If the breeding selection is carried out by genes and the mean level is raised, the economic value will be greatly improved.
