| The high reproductive new strain-HN pig is a new strain pig that was breeded from the offspring of Erhualian pig and Duroc using crossbreeding,athwart cross fixation and systematic breeding based on modern genetic breeding theory.This new strain pig has been widely promoted and recognized in Gansu Province.In order to explore its production performance and annual productivity,three level‘s crude protein(CP)diets of high,medium and low were designed in the experiment,and the effects of different CP level diets on the growth performance and economic benefit of the high reproductive swine new strain-HN were studied.As Large white pigs for contrast,the fattening performance of 2.5~6.5 month age and the carcass performance and meat quality of different weight stages were measured.At last,the annual productivity level and economic benefit were analyzed.The research contents are divided into two parts:Exp1: The experiment was designed by single factor random arrangement.Thirty new strain pigs(15 steers and 15 females)with body weight about 15 kg were selected and randomly divided into three groups,and there were ten pigs in each group.Then three level‘s crude protein(CP)diets were designed during 15~30 kg(H:18.5%、M:18.0%、L:17.5%),30~60 kg(H:17.5%、M:17.0%、L:16.5%)and 60~90 kg(H:16.5%、M:16.0%、L:15.5%)body weight stages,respectively.The average daily gain(ADG),average daily feed intake(ADFI)and feed conversion ratio(F/G)were calculated and the effects of protein level on growth performance,economic benefit and annual production efficiency of sow were analyzed when the body weight was 90 kg.The results showed that the ADFI of three groups were increased gradually with the decrease of dietary CP levels in each weight stage.In 15~30 and 30~60 kg stages,the ADG was the highest(390.63 g/d and 699.16 g/d),the F/G was the lowest(2.43 and 2.81)and the days of fattening was the least(41 d and 44 d)in the medium level CP group,while there was no significant difference among the three level CP groups in ADG(P>0.05).In the 60~90 kg stage,there was no significant difference in ADG between the medium level CP group and low level CP group(P>0.05),but they were significantly higher than the high level CP group(P<0.01).According to the feed cost and hog prices of gansu province in November 2016,the feed cost of medium level CP group during the full fatting period was ¥ 566.34,which was lower ¥89.71 and ¥37.22 than high level CP group and low level CP group,respectively.The average pure profit for per fattening pig in medium level CP group was ¥ 363.66,which was higher ¥ 104.71 and ¥ 42.22 than high level CP group and low level CP group,respectively.The annual profit for per sow in medium level CP group was ¥ 7188.90,which was higher ¥ 2804.15 and ¥ 1130.80 than the high level CP group and low level CP group,respectively.Exp2: Large white was conducted as control in the experiment.Twenty(10 steers and 10 females)healthy new strain-NH pigs and Large White of 2.5 month age for each group.After one week advanced experiment period,the formal experiment period was performed.The pigs were weighted monthly and were recorded for their feed intake every day.Fattening performance of the two groups were analyzed at the end of 6.5 month age.When the average living weight of the test group was 60,70,80,90 kg and the control group reached 100 kg,three pigs were randomly selected in each weight stage to carry out slaughter test.The carcass performance,meat quality,annual productivity and economic benefits were determined.The result showed that the full period ADG of high reproductive new strain-HN was 614.00 g/d,and significantly lower than Large White(P <0.01).The whole period F/G was 3.19,and higher than Large white.The growth rate was the fastest in 3.5~4.5 month age and the ADG was 774.19 g/d.The slaughter rate was about 68%,and carcass lean meat rate was 51% to 56% in each weight.When slaughtered at 90 kg,the carcass weight and loin eye area reach the maximum of 61.48 kg and 40.73 cm2,respectively.When slaughtered at 80 kg,the ham percentage and net meat rate reach the maximum of 29.34% and 73.12%.Meat quality indicators were within the normal range.The numbers of fattening pigs from each new Strain-HN sow are more 10.16 per year than each Large White sow.When the new Strain-HN fattening pigs were slaughtered at 60 kg,70 kg,80 kg and 90 kg,the sow’s annual productivity(meat production)was 1107.25 kg,1282.98 kg,1461.98 kg and 1644.24 kg,respectively.The annual productivity of new Strain-HN(except 60 kg)that were slaughtered were higher than Large White that was slaughtered at 100 kg.According to the current pig market price in Gansu provience in November 2015,when the fattening pigs of new Strain-HN were sold,the sow‘s annual pure profit are ¥ 3681.34,¥ 5415.34,¥ 6335.50 and ¥ 6497.25 at the four fattening weight stages respectively,and the comprehensive economic benefits are higher than that of the 100 kg Large White.Comprehensive analysis,The different crude protein diets have certain effects on the daily average daily gain,average daily feed intake,feed conversion ratio and economic benefit.In the 15~ 30 kg and 30~60 kg stage,the growth performance of the medium level CP group is the best,in 60~90 kg,the low level CP group is the best;The high reproductive new strain-HN has good fattening performance in 2.5~6.5 month age and the different slaughter weights have effects on carcass performance,meat quality and annual productivity.The suitable slaughter weight is 80 kg. |
