Research On Working Capital Management Of W Company From The Perspective Of Supply Chain

With the rapid development of China’s economy,the continuous increase of residents’ income,and the upgrading of residents’ consumption needs to a higher level,home appliance companies have been forced to continuously adjust product structures,organizational models,management methods and concepts.There are many factors that affect the environmental protection and healthy development of home appliance enterprises.Among them,the quality of working capital management is one of the important factors restricting the development of enterprises.Traditional working capital management methods no longer meet the needs of current enterprise development,and better working capital management methods should be sought.Working capital management research from the perspective of supply chain brings new ideas to corporate working capital management.Based on the domestic and foreign literature on working capital management,this paper selects three leading home appliance industry companies-Midea,Gree and Qingdao Haier,as benchmarks,and adopts the working capital management model from the perspective of the chain to analyze the current status of the working capital management of the home appliance W Company comprehensively.First,the paper introduces the background of W Company’s research on working capital from the perspective of supply chain and the classification of working capital management from the perspective of supply chain.Secondly,it introduces the current status of W Company’s working capital management in the three channels of the supply chain.Then,through a detailed analysis of the working capital of W Company from 2015 to 2019 through three links,it is concluded that the procurement channel has a low commercial credit interest rate and excessive occupation of supplier funds;the production channel has an excessively high proportion of products and production Inadequate technical integration;insufficient development of online marketing models in marketing channels and other issues.In response to the above problems,W Company should take the following measures: in the procurement channel,improve the efficiency of commercial credit utilization,avoid excessive occupation of supplier funds;in the production channel,speed up technological innovation,promote scientific production methods,and take market demand as the guide,avoid consuming a large amount of funds in products;expand network marketing in terms of marketing channels and so forth.With the case analysis of W Company,the supply chain management and working capital management are effectively combined,and a new idea is provided for improving the working capital management level of W Company.
