In the context of rapid global economic development and rapid urbanization,the extensive development of urban construction has caused a series of "urban diseases" in some regions.Domestic and foreign countries have proposed low-carbon city construction goals and advocated green development models in response to such problems.At the same time,in some urban built-up environments,motor vehicle traffic has invaded the pedestrian space of the streets,the pedestrian environment of urban streets is "unfriendly",and the quality of the pedestrian environment in some streets is low.It has important research significance to deeply explore the walkability of the living streets in the existing residential areas of the city,and to optimize the residents’ daily walkability experience.This paper takes the pedestrian space of living streets in existing residential areas in cold areas as the research object,and analyzes and compares the differences in the design principles and design strategies of domestic and foreign street design guidelines by sorting out domestic and foreign living streets and related theories and technical research on pedestrian friendliness.The street space is processed in three dimensions and the time dimension is added.A systematic street multi-dimensional perspective research method is proposed.The relevant element indicators of the pedestrian-friendly street living street are selected for analysis,and a multi-dimensional perspective pedestrian-friendly indicator feature system is established.The optimization strategy of pedestrian-friendly design for living streets was developed.Firstly,the theoretical research and technical research methods related to living streets and pedestrian friendliness are sorted out,and the principles,goals,and related design strategy characteristics of pedestrian space design related to living streets in the domestic and foreign street design guidelines are compared and analyzed,and the systematicness is determined.The research angle and scope of life street from multi-dimensional perspectives.Secondly,research the basic conceptual information of domestic roads,carry out typological research on living streets,and combine the research on street design guidelines at home and abroad,and put forward the principle of pedestrian friendliness.Then,on the basis of street classification,we cut into the pedestrian space of living streets from a multi-dimensional perspective,and selected a total of 12 living streets in Dalian and Dongying,and obtained a multi-dimensional perspective by investigating the types of pedestrian activities in their pedestrian spaces and their temporal and spatial distribution characteristics.The elements of pedestrian-friendliness in living streets.According to the relevant elements,the 12 street design-related questionnaires have completed the pedestrian friendliness evaluation of the living streets,and further summarized the pedestrian friendliness indicators of the living streets from the multi-dimensional perspective and completed the empirical measurement.Combining index measurement data and residents’ subjective evaluation surveys,this paper summarizes the pedestrian friendliness index characteristic system of living streets in cold areas from a multi-dimensional perspective.Thirdly,the design goals are systematically proposed for the pedestrian-friendly design of living streets.Combining the characteristics of street elements in each dimension from a multi-dimensional perspective,the walk-friendly design optimization strategy is proposed from the planning mesoscale,side interface dimension,bottom interface dimension,section interface dimension,and time dimension.Finally,based on the walk-friendly design strategy of living streets obtained from the above research,the relevant streets of Dalian and Dongying are selected as the design objects,combined with empirical research data and the pedestrian-friendly design strategy of living streets from a multi-dimensional perspective,the proposed strategy is targeted.Optimization design method for pedestrian friendliness of regional streets.
