Study On Regional Expression Of Interior Space In Expressway Service Area From The Perspective Of Semiotics

The differences in geographical features,space environment and other external factors between cities form different folk customs.As the display window of the city image,the expressway service area plays the role of showing the local cultural characteristics and spreading the development of the city.It can enhance the visibility of the city and drive the development of local tourism,which is of great significance to the social and economic development.At present,systematic design methods have been formed in the planning and design of expressway service areas in China.However,due to the lack of expression of regional culture in interior space,homogenization phenomenon between expressway service areas has been caused,which makes them separated from the regional style of the city where they are located.Therefore,the study of regional symbol design expression in interior space design of highway service area in China is carried out.This paper mainly studies the expression of regional cultural symbols in interior space of expressway service areas by integrating semiotics theory into them from the following parts:The first part is the background and theory introduction,namely chapter one and chapter two.The first chapter mainly explains the social background,research significance and related theories of the topic,which specifically expounds the spatial composition and design characteristics of the highway service area.The second chapter introduces the theory of semiotics,expounds the design methods of semiotics in interior space and the performance characteristics of semiotics in regional culture,and analyzes relevant cases.The second part is the third chapter to analyze the problems existing in China’s expressway service area.Based on the questionnaire survey,the public’s concerns and opinions about the expressway service areas in China at the present stage were investigated and the data of the survey results were analyzed.Through on-the-spot investigation,this thesis discusses the shortcomings of interior design in regional cultural expression of highway service areas in China.The third part is to solve the problem and put the theoretical method into practice,namely chapter 4 and chapter 5.The fourth chapter summarizes the new trend of the application of regional cultural symbols in the expressway service area,the methods of distillation and application principles.The fifth chapter is the design practice of the south area of Weifang West Expressway service area in Shandong Province,and takes it as the innovative application of regional cultural symbol in the expressway service area,which is also the final form of this study.Modern people gradually improve the requirements of space environment,no longer stay in the basic function of the satisfaction,more pursuit of environmental decoration beauty and connotation.In this article,through the application of semiotics in the space design at the result of the study and practical research,found that the current problems in the design of expressway service area,and points out that the highway service area space appropriate development of regional cultural symbol design new trends,from the regional cultural symbol extraction,expression and way of using the Angle of the proposed solution,respectively is:Element extraction based on prototype fusion,expression optimization based on material conversion and theme series based on cultural tourism,and the corresponding implementation principles are listed.Finally,in terms of design practice,according to the theoretical construction of regional cultural expression enhancement of expressway service area,the design and transformation of Weifang West service area is carried out to provide reference for regional culture design of expressway service area in the future.Nowadays,the regional cultural design of the expressway service area is conducive to promoting the contemporary cultural construction and the prosperous development of literature and art,and plays a positive role in promoting the cultural accomplishment and cultural confidence of the whole people.Designers should take the initiative to combine the cultural characteristics of the region,explore the expression of regional cultural symbols,and inject new impetus into the development of local regional culture.
