Research On Landscape System And Construction Wisdom Of Taierzhuang Ancient City

The Grand Canal is China’s 46 th World Heritage Site,and Xi Jinping stressed the need to further explore the historical and cultural resources of the Grand Canal,protect the landscape of the towns along the canal and build the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal National Cultural Park.The Jia Canal is an important part of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal,and Taierzhuang was gradually prosperous canal settlements based on the development of Jia Canal water transportation,and gradually formed a unique landscape system in the development process,condenses the traditional construction wisdom.However,against the backdrop of a long historical evolution and the intensification of modern technological interventions,traditional habitat wisdom has been greatly impacted,hence the urgent need for a research summary of the landscape characteristics and ecological wisdom of traditional canal settlements.This thesis is built on this,with a view to providing a reference for similar studies in cities along the Shandong canal.Firstly,based on the changes of water system of the Jia Canal area,the thesis summarizes the hydraulic construction of the Jia Canal area in terms of water supply engineering,storage and drainage engineering,and then explores the influence of the hydraulic construction in Jia Canal area on the canal settlements.The mainly reflected in affecting the landscape evolution of canal settlements,driving the economic development of canal settlements,and changing the lifestyle of settlement residents.Secondly,according to the historical development process,the historical evolution of Jia Canal and Taierzhuang Ancient City was combed,and the research framework of the landscape system of Taierzhuang Ancient City was constructed.From the perspective of the discipline of landscape architecture,the landscape system of the ancient city of Taierzhuang is divided into a composite system consisting of the water system,spatial pattern,humanistic creation and urban culture.Through a detailed discussion of the characteristics of each element and a visual representation of them,an attempt is made to uncover the interconnectedness of each component.The wisdom of the construction of the city is summarized: the integration of the city and its water,with a complete water system inside and outside the city;the water-oriented layout of the city,taking advantage of the local context;artful structure space,humanities and water system combination;thriving on the Jia canal,multiculturalism is compatible and inclusive.Finally,the history of the redevelopment of the ancient city of Taierzhuang is briefly described,and problems of a scenic Taierzhuang city are summarized.The protection and development strategies are proposed as follows: to respect the natural landscape and preserve the local character;to continue the historical pattern of the ancient city and protect the canal heritage;to recreate the human spirit of the ancient city and highlight the local culture;and to draw on traditional building wisdom to adapt to contemporary needs.In turn,it provides a reference to the development strategy of environmental protection,construction and heritage of the traditional canal towns in Shandong,and contributes to the research and conservation of the canal settlement landscape system.
