| In the process of adapting to the natural environment and integrating with the social history,the Bulang people living in Jingmai Mountain area,Yunnan province have formed their distinctive vernacular architecture.The early economic development was poor,but nowadays,with the recovery and prosperity of tea economy and the development of local tourism resources,the traditional style of residential houses are facing threats,and the construction of modern residential houses is constantly carried out.These dwellings have distinctive ethnic group’s cultural characteristics in shape,material structure,construction method,construction ceremony and so on.They reflect the process of an ethnic group’s vicissitude from the side and have high historical,cultural and architectural artistic value.This paper takes the traditional and modern dwellings of Bulang ethnic group in Jingmai Mountain area as the research object,Through extensive field investigation and a large number of data collection,the background information and first-hand surveying and mapping data of residential buildings were obtained,for reference and combining the architectural culture,cultural anthropology and so on related discipline point of view,on the premise of fully combing and summarizing the historical,social,cultural and economic development of Bulang ethnic group in Jingmai Mountain area area,This paper analyzes the cultural characteristics and evolution process of folk dwellings.The specific research content of the cultural characteristics of residential houses includes: the modeling characteristics of residential houses,the spatial form of residential houses,the decoration of residential houses,the construction method of residential houses,construction ceremony and so on.On this basis,the paper analyzes the characteristics and motivation of the evolution from traditional folk houses to modern folk houses,so as to comprehensively and systematically understand the content of the cultural characteristics in the development process of the Bulang folk houses in Jingmai Mountain area.Through the in-depth and systematic research on the traditional and modern dwellings of The Bulang ethnic group in Jingmai Mountain area,this paper determines that the cultural characteristics contained in the modern dwellings of the Bulang ethnic group include the traditional styles of the dwellings,the construction methods,and the ethnic group’s culture.The style of residential houses is typical,and the decoration of residential houses is localized and advanced.The cultural expression is mainly through decoration,fire ponds and construction ceremony.This paper puts forward that the inheritance of cultural characteristics in the development process of Bulang folk houses in Jingmai Mountain area area has the value influence of endogenous power.The development and evolution of residential houses takes place in the context of social development and progress.Cultural identity in this environment is not only the inheritance of one’s own culture,but also the recognition of foreign culture.This paper studies the inheritance of cultural characteristics in the development process of The Bulang folk houses in Jingmai Mountain area,providing theoretical exploration with reference value for the inheritance and protection of the traditional culture,historical research and creation of the Bulang folk houses,and thus providing an important reference for the protection and development of the Bulang folk houses in Jingmai Mountain area. |
