| With the gradual aging of the population structure,the main tasks of the "14th Five-Year Plan" elderly care service system plan in Shandong Province put forward the development and expansion of the elderly care industry,the expansion of the supply of elderly products,and the promotion of rich supply and upgrading of elderly products.The aging industry and the potential of the "silver economy" have also received constant attention from various industries.Affected by the aging of body functions and various chronic diseases,the independent travel and actions of the elderly have been affected.However,there are currently many mobility aids on the market.Focusing on functionality,there are still many deficiencies in humanistic care and innovation,which cannot meet the growing needs of the elderly.This thesis is based on the IMB model as a theoretical guide for the design of walking aid products and constructs a product design process based on the IMB model,which provides experience for standardizing the design of walking aid products.The IMB model is an emerging behavioral change theoretical model.It analyzes the relationship between the three elements that affect behavioral change,namely information,motivation,and behavioral skills,and user behaviors,and observes the process of behavioral change in target groups,which facilitates the in-depth formulation of intervention measures.Achieving the goal of a positive behavior change.First,make an inductive analysis and summary of the existing mobility aid products,classify and compare a variety of elderly mobility aid products that have matured in the market and are widely used by users,and conclude the necessity of designing and researching mobility aid products.Secondly,the physical,psychological,and travel characteristics of the elderly with mild mobility impairment are summarized.Guided by the IMB model theory,combined with a questionnaire survey and motivational interviews,the needs of users are further analyzed,and the specific needs of target users are obtained.The application is analyzed,and it is concluded that the use of this model has an impact on the user’s psychological needs and quality of life,as well as the advantages and limitations of its application in the field of industrial design.Finally,based on relevant theories and data support,the design principles based on the IMB model method are determined,and the design practice is carried out to verify the application effect of the IMB model.Through the research of this thesis,it is hoped to break the stereotypes and prejudices that may exist against the elderly group,attract the attention of society to the basic needs of the elderly,such as travel mode,and attract the attention of the industry,thereby indirectly reducing medical costs,to promote the elderly care industry.Further development. |
