Product Design Research For Elderly Patients With Mild Cognitive Impairment

The increase in aging has led to an increase in the prevalence of Alzheimer's disease.Because Alzheimer's disease is irreversible,the focus of research has shifted to early prevention and intervention,and mild cognitive impairment is an early warning sign of Alzheimer's disease.At present,the product design for elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment is still in a backward state.How to design a product that suits the use of the population according to the characteristics of the group,so as to reduce or prevent the occurrence of senile dementia has become the focus of this paper.In this paper,based on the study of elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment,the characteristics of the group were obtained through investigation and analysis,and the existing non-pharmacological treatment methods and cognitive training methods were analyzed.At the same time,through the investigation and analysis of the existing products,the problems of the current products were summarized.While improving the problems of the current products,the key points of cognitive training were integrated into the product design to design products that are easy to be used by elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment.
