Psychological stress,as a psychological state of tension or anxiety,is often caused by changes in homeostasis and individuals feel unable to cope with it.Long-term or excessive psychological stress will have a negative impact on people’s lives, and even endanger people’s physical and mental health. However, most of the current research on building environment and personnel focuses on the evaluation of indoor environment on the comfort of residents and the impact of indoor environment on the productivity of residents, ignoring the impact of environment on the psychological state of residents.Uncomfortable thermal environment will aggravate the negative psychological stress state, and psychological stress will lead to muscle tension, increased blood pressure, accelerated heart rate, increased respiratory rate and increased glandular activity and other physiological reactions, which to some extent affect people’s demand for thermal environment; At the same time, psychological studies have confirmed that listening to some soothing music is very helpful to alleviate psychological stress, but when people are in severe psychological stress, they will increase their dissatisfaction with the sound environment. Therefore, environmental comfort can affect the psychological stress state of residents, and different psychological stress States can also affect the comfort of residents in the same physical environment, but the specific interaction mechanism between environmental comfort and psychological stress has not yet been clarified. The purpose of this study is to explore the influence mechanism of indoor thermal environment and acoustic environment on psychological stress and thermal comfort of subjects, and to explore the interaction effect between environmental comfort and psychological stress of subjects under stress. To this end, this study conducted an experiment on 20 subjects in the climate laboratory. The experiment was based on Trier’s social stress experiment, including a 5-minute public speaking task and a 5-minute calculation test.By inducing the subjects to experience a sense of uncontrollability, they could quickly produce psychological stress responses. The experimental environment includes three thermal environment conditions(PMV =-1 "slightly cold" environment,PMV = 0 "neutral" environment and PMV = 1 "slightly warm" environment),and two acoustic environment conditions(40d B classical music and no music).According to the characteristics of the experiment, each experimental environment was divided into three parts: Pre-stressor,Stressor task and Post-stressor.Subjective survey and physiological parameters were used to evaluate the comfort and psychological stress of the subjects. The main research results are as follows:(1)Thermal environment had different effects on the psychological stress of the subjects in different experimental links. In Pre-stressor,when the subjects were in the state of no psychological stress, the three kinds of thermal environment had no significant effect on the psychological stress of the subjects, but in the Stressor task, when the subjects were in the state of psychological stress, the subjects in the "slightly warm" environment had more psychological stress than those in the "slightly cold" and "neutral" thermal environment; In Post-stressor,the subjects were in a state of stress recovery, and the "slightly cold" and "neutral" hot environment were conducive to the alleviation of psychological stress.(2)40 d B classical music sound environment under "slightly cold" and "neutral" thermal environment can help the subjects alleviate psychological stress. After the stress task, compared with the control group without music, the 40 d B classical music sound environment had a positive effect on the relief of psychological stress in the "slightly cold" and "neutral" thermal environment, but in the "slightly warm" thermal environment, the 40 d B classical music sound environment had no effect on the recovery of psychological stress.(3)There was an interaction between thermal comfort and psychological stress. In the stress task, the psychological stress state of the subjects will affect their own thermal sensation, which makes the subjects’ thermal sensation shift to the warmer side of the thermal sensation scale in the stress task, and then affect their own thermal comfort;when the subjects’ thermal comfort deviates from the comfort range,it will cause negative psychological state and aggravate the psychological stress.(4)there was an interaction between acoustic comfort and psychological stress, but that effect of acoustic comfort on psychological stress was affect by thermal comfort. When the thermal comfort of the subjects deviates from the neutral range, the thermal comfort occupies a dominant position in the impact on the psychological state, which will inhibit the mitigation effect of the acoustic environment on the psychological stress of the subjects.Figure [24] table [16] reference [63]...
