Research On Outdoor Landscape Design Of Elderly Care Institutions In Mianyang City ——Taking Qingyang Village Nursing Home As An Example

The rapid growth of the world’s population has become a trend,with a total population of7.6 billion in 235 countries as of February 2021.Aging population has also become an important problem that China has to face.According to the database analysis of mianyang population and family planning department,the permanent population of Mianyang city in 2021 was about 4.87 million.Among them,there are more than 890,000 people over 65 years old,accounting for 18.36% of the total population.Mianyang has entered the deep aging.As more and more elderly people are facing the situation of needing care,it is extremely urgent to establish and perfect pension institutions that can provide daily care for the elderly.The improvement of outdoor landscape quality in pension institutions is of great help to the elderly.This paper firstly carries out theoretical research on the concepts related to the elderly and the classification of the elderly.According to the current situation of aging population in the world and the characteristics of aging population in China,this paper studies the progress of outdoor landscape design of elderly care institutions at home and abroad.Then the concepts related to the elderly,pension institutions,outdoor space and landscape design are elaborated to clarify the research object and discuss the physiological,psychological and behavioral characteristics of the elderly.According to Maslow’s theory of needs,this paper studies the suitability of outdoor space landscape design from the optimum alzheimerof hearing,smell,vision and touch.Through literature research method,case analysis method,questionnaire survey method and practical creation method,the paper puts forward the safety principle,diversity principle,comfort principle,participation principle and regional principle of outdoor landscape design for elderly care institutions.At the same time,in order to more truly and specifically understand the status quo of outdoor landscape design of pension institutions,six pension institutions in Mianyang city were selected to carry out field research,and the problems encountered in outdoor space landscape design of pension institutions were summarized,and their causes and references were analyzed.Questionnaire survey was adopted to further enrich the data research on outdoor landscape design of pension institutions.Finally,on the basis of the summary,the outdoor space landscape of Qingyang Nursing Home in Mianyang was transformed,including the boundary landscape,path landscape,node landscape,plant landscape,facility landscape,water landscape and other aspects of the outdoor space of the nursing home.It is hoped that through the research on the outdoor landscape design of mianyang pension institutions,the landscape environment of outdoor space can be improved,so as to improve the quality of life of the elderly.
