| Supply chain management is an advanced management model that effectively integrates and manages all activities of enterprises in the supply chain,helps the enterprises integrate internal processes and streamline organizations,and improves the response speed,operational efficiency,and quality performance of the enterprises,driving them to create the best overall value.With the continuous development of global integration and information technology and software engineering,supply chain management has been more widely used and gotten more attention.This paper is from the perspective of supply chain,using the theories of resource-based and competitive advantage to study the countermeasures for R company to enhance its competitive advantages.Firstly,this article analyzes the current situation and the development trend of the automobile parts industry in which the company is involved,and analyzes the level of supply chain management,the competitiveness of product lines and the competitive environment of the company.Secondly,it comprehensively analyzes the resources and capabilities of the group to which the enterprise belongs and the enterprise itself.According to the external market competition situation and the advantageous resources of R company identified by the above analyses,and considering the development trend of the automobile industry,finally the countermeasures of product lines adjustment,local engineering team ability improvement,localized sales and marketing,establishment of local technology center.As well as actions to enhance competitive advantage by strategically partnering with local suppliers or competitors or conducting mergers and acquisitions.With the rapid development of Chinese auto parts enterprises,the competitive advantages of foreign auto parts companies have been weakened,which requires them to take improvement actions.I hope this research case can be referenced for the other foreign-funded auto parts companies which are facing similar challenges. |
