Study On Color Characteristics Of Private Gardens In Yangzhou In Ming And Qing Dynasties From The Perspective Of Semiotics

The ancient city of Yangzhou prospered and developed due to the Beijing Hangzhou canal and coexisted with the canal.It attracted a number of literati and scholars and made emperor Kang Qian linger and linger for many times.Its strong history has accumulated many historical and cultural heritages.Among them,Yangzhou classical garden heritage is also an important part of Chinese traditional cultural heritage,which is in line with Jiangnan classical garden and has certain historical value.However,there is a lack of research on Yangzhou gardens,especially on the color characteristics of Yangzhou gardens.Color not only has the function of art decoration,but also has the cognitive function,which can spread the cultural spirit of the nation through the color habit of social personnel.Under the unique natural geography,human society and historical environment of Yangzhou,private gardens in Yangzhou have formed distinctive color art features,which directly reflect the cultural connotation of the local area.Garden color characteristics is the first human can perceive the Chinese classical garden elements,it expresses the cultural thought of the garden maker,conveys the ancient concept of color,is a cultural heritage with historical value,is one of the components of the city color.Because urban culture is often produced by or a method of extracting implied colors,it is necessary to use some dominant color representation to reflect the whole urban culture.However,due to the complexity and elusiveness of urban cultural object features and the effectiveness of extracting implied colors cannot be completely determined.Asked us to refine urban express cultural connotation and city culture characteristic has always is a very difficult to really put in place a thing,so under the condition of today’s big background,the city cultural characteristics will become more and more difficult to eliminate,culture cannot get real communication performance,leading to the city’s traditional color image being threatened,The problems of traditional color culture rupture and urban color disorder are becoming more and more serious.Based on the above reasons,this study studies the correlation between traditional color text and culture through cultural semiotics theory,in order to alleviate the current urban color problem.The main contents of this paper are as follows: first,the composition of the color cultural symbol system of private gardens in Yangzhou and its implication of yangzhou city cultural characteristics;Second,the study of yangzhou private garden color cultural symbol circle analysis and cultural movement relations;Thirdly,based on the cultural semiotics cultural memory mechanism,the modern translation and application of yangzhou private garden color symbols.Research conclusion is as follows: yangzhou private garden culture symbol color system is prosperous in Ming and qing dynasties economy condition,natural condition is superior,the transportation is convenient,the emperor under the social background of many southern formed with "simple but elegant of primitive simplicity","warm Ming yan," bright "noble" and "beautiful innovation" as its essential characteristic of color style.The color symbol text mainly consists of visual text such as gray and black with medium and low lightness and low purity,blue and gray with medium and low lightness and low purity,and behavioral text such as yellow and red with medium and high lightness.Yangzhou humanities color text contains the private garden in yangzhou region different culture would exercise outside the circle circle,finally on the basis of the mainstream culture of loose,to achieve a kind of civil culture,and business culture,multicultural superposition combination of Chinese and western cultural fusion of cultural forms.The color characteristics of private gardens in Yangzhou not only show the simple and unyielding character of the literati in Yangzhou,but also express the extravagant and wasteful life attitude of salt merchants.Not only the light ink of the southern water village,but also the bright and elegant of the northern royal family;Finally,based on the above research on the color characteristics of private gardens in Yangzhou,this study proposed that yuanshandai,Yangzhou gray,bright moon white,warm chestnut,misty rain green and colorful brilliant orange were selected as the representative colors of traditional gardens in Yangzhou,and a set of recommended color map was established based on these colors,which were tried to be applied to the city sign system.From the perspective of cultural symbol theory,this paper studies the connection and interaction mechanism between Yangzhou culture and the color characteristics of private gardens in Yangzhou,and tries to solve the difficult problems such as how to apply traditional colors to modern urban construction and how to inherit and continue the cultural context of traditional colors to restore the regional cultural charm of the ancient city.
