With the continuous increase in the number of electric bicycles,electric bicycles have become an important part of traffic in our country,and the following traffic safety problems are also becoming more and more serious.As key nodes of the urban road network,signalized intersections generally have traffic safety risks.The purpose of this paper was to explore the risk assessment method of electric bicycle traffic safety at signalized intersections,and to provide a theoretical basis for controlling the traffic risk of electric bicycles.The research contents are as follows:Starting from the definition of traffic risk of electric bicycles at signalized intersections,determined the influencing factors of traffic safety risk factors of electric bicycles at signalized intersections based on accident data and traffic conflict data.The formation process of traffic conflict was analyzed,PET was selected as the identification index,and the conflict severity was divided into disturbing conflict,general conflict and serious conflict.Statistical analysis was carried out on the electric bicycle accident data in Shenzhen in the past ten years,and the characteristics of electric bicycle traffic accidents were obtained,and the most significant influencing factors of traffic accidents were screened by using multiple logit regression methods.Based on the analysis of traffic accident data,it was concluded that the illegal behavior of electric bicycle riders and the setting of traffic safety facilities at signalized intersections were important factors affecting traffic safety.There were traffic safety risks in both flat-peak and peak-hour periods,which needed to be taken into account in the research process.Investigated traffic conflicts of electric bicycles on 17 typical signal crossings,and obtained traffic flow data and conflict data through video observation method.The conflict types were divided into 18 types,including 8 types of conflicts between vehicles and non-motor vehicles and 10 types of conflicts between non-motor vehicles,and the risk forms corresponding to different types of conflicts were analyzed.Three types of high-frequency violations of electric bicycles that had a greater impact on the location and number of conflicts were selected to analyze the causes.Based on the traffic conflict data,the Apriori association rules algorithm was used to obtain the influencing factors of the conflict severity and their correlations.Based on the analysis results of traffic risk factors based on accident data,it was determined that illegal behavior of electric bicycles was the main influencing factor of traffic safety risk.Summarized the steps of traffic safety risk assessment and formed a multi-method traffic safety risk assessment process.For the first time,the illegal comprehensive conflict rate and non-illegal comprehensive conflict rate of electric bicycles at signalized intersections were used as traffic safety risk evaluation indicators,and 4 safety risk levels were determined through SC indicators.Cycling traffic safety risk level.The traditional comprehensive traffic conflict rate index was used to evaluate the traffic risk,which was in good agreement with the calculation results of the double index,which proves that the reliability of the index used in the study was strong.The evaluation effect of FCM algorithm was tested by grey clustering method.Taking a single high-risk sample as an example,the risk factors of electric bicycle traffic at signalized intersections were deeply analyzed,and corresponding improvement countermeasures were put forward.
