The mixed bicycle referred in this article is general name of bicycle under the situation of mixed bicycle and electric bicycle.With the massive investment in China in recent years,shared bikes have been widely adopted for short distance trips.Due to the convenience,speed and economy of electric bicycles,electric bicycles are popular among people,leading to the continuous increase in the number of electric bicycles.With the increasing number of bicycles and electric bicycles,the mixed bicycle traffic flow formed by them brings many new problems to traffic safety.Mixed bicycle flow becomes mixed traffic flow to some extent,which leads to more serious mixed traffic phenomenon,more complex traffic flow characteristics and increasing traffic safety risks.With the increasing number of people driving non-motor vehicles on urban roads and the accelerated development of vehicle ownership,the contradiction between the growing traffic demand and the existing road capacity continues has deepened,resulting in traffic congestion.Signalized intersections,as the concentration point of traffic problems of mixed traffic flow,are particularly serious.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the traffic characteristics of mixed bicycle flow at signalized intersections.In this paper,the traffic characteristics of mixed bicycle flow were studied in detail from the following aspects,based on the data collected at urban signalized intersection roads.1.Mixed bicycle travel characteristicsIn this part,the static and dynamic characteristics of bicycles and electric bicycles are deeply analyzed based on the data collected from the questionnaire survey.Through data analysis of bicycle,electric bicycle drivers travel time,travel distance,travel purpose;Logistic model was used to analyze the influencing factors of mixed bicycle travel frequency,and finally the mixed bicycle travel frequency was predicted and summarized.The results show that the travel characteristics of bicycles and e-bikes are quite different,mainly reflected in the travel time and distance of e-bikes.In the mixed bicycle travel,electric bicycle is the most important way for urban residents to travel,and the middle and low income level are more inclined to non-motor vehicle travel.Questionnaire survey analysis provides guidance for the extraction and analysis of mixed bicycle flow at signal acquisition intersections.2.Mixed bicycle traffic flow relationship modelBased on the static and dynamic characteristics of mixed bicycle,with individual nonmotor vehicles at signalized intersections as the research object,through the extraction and analysis of three parameters of mixed bicycle traffic flow,a three-parameter model of mixed bicycle flow is established;regression analysis is used,Mathematical statistics and other related methods,establish a model of mixed bicycle traffic flow,speed,and density;establish a non-motor vehicle expansion model based on traffic flow parameters such as mixed bicycle flow and density.The expansion width of mixed bicycle is analyzed using multiple regression models and stepwise regression analysis to analyze the influencing factors of the expansion width of mixed bicycle,and the relationship between each factor and the expansion width is established.3.Study on Non-traffic conflict identification model of signalized intersectionsBased on the extraction of mixed non-motor vehicle traffic flow and the analysis of the expansion width of straight non-motor vehicle,the conflict discrimination of right-turning motor vehicle,straight motor vehicle and straight non-motor vehicle was studied.For the collection of right-turning vehicles passing the discriminant index TTC(Time to Collision),the 85% bit cumulative frequency curve is used to distinguish the three types of serious conflict,general conflict and no conflict,and the methods to reduce the conflict are introduced.According to the result of conflict discrimination,an economical and practical channelization method to reduce the non-conflict of straight-going machines is put forward.4.Research on signal timing optimization measuresBased on the machine of conflict and reducing conflict discrimination methods of introduction,with the examples of zhengzhou city garden road-dimness geometric parameter according to the actual traffic flow and signal intersection signal timing optimization,based on the TRRL method,the method to establish in advance a non-motor vehicle signal timing scheme,combined with the simulation software VISSIM validation evaluation,verify the feasibility of signal timing scheme. |
