Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of highways in our country,facing a variety of complex terrain conditions,especially in some narrow mountain gullies,how to choose the most reasonably designed support structure while maintaining maximum economic benefits has become a major problem.Compared with other forms of retaining walls,the stress distribution of the arched retaining wall is more uniform,so it can not only maximize the material strength of the structure,but also greatly shorten the construction progress of the construction project.Therefore,it is widely used in some complex mountainous areas in my country.However,from the current research results,there is no relevant specific design and construction specifications that can be used as a reference.In this paper,the overall continuity model design and internal force calculation of the arched retaining wall are carried out,and the relevant numerical simulation analysis is also completed,so as to obtain the deformation and stress characteristics of the arched retaining wall.The main contents and achievements are as follows:(1)By analyzing the structural shape and stress characteristics of the arched retaining wall,the undetermined coefficients in the upper and lower arch equations are used as design variables to establish the shape of the entire arch wall and establish an optimized overall continuous linear model.Since the optimization model established in this paper is a linear expression,it can not be troubled by the shortcomings of the nonlinear optimization model,such as large amount of calculation,slow convergence and low accuracy,and greatly improves the calculation efficiency.And on this basis,the expressions of various geometric constraints on design variables are derived.(2)In this paper,the arch-beam load-sharing method is used to complete the calculation method for the study of the structural stability of the arched retaining wall,so as to establish the corresponding stability calculation formula and combine the structural stability of the arched retaining wall with the stress calculation method.Through the calculation method of this study,it can be concluded that the instability failure of the arch retaining wall structure is most likely to occur at the top of the arch ring.(3)Through the internal force analysis and calculation of the arch retaining wall structure,it can be known that the calculation results obtained by the circular simple method and the pure arch method are relatively similar,and the internal force corrected and calculated according to the elastic shell is very small and can be ignored.Therefore,the internal force of the arch retaining wall can be calculated according to the pure arch method and the circular simple method first,and then corrected according to the elastic foundation beam,which can ensure the calculation results,It can also reflect the actual situation,so that the calculation workload can be greatly improved.(4)Using the finite element analysis software ANSYS to simulate and analyze the arched retaining wall under different wall top widths and different wall radii to obtain its force characteristics and change mechanism,which helps us to understand its changing rules more deeply,which is helpful for engineering practice.Applications provide the foundation.Moreover,through the analysis and comparison with the linear retaining wall under the same conditions,it can be obtained that the arch retaining wall can better reflect its supporting function and reduce the project cost.
