Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid economy development in our country,the scale of infrastructure construction is also increasing.Retaining wall is used widely in civil engineering and it has played an extremely important role.Retaining wall is a structure to prevent soil slipping and cutting off the extension of soil slope,its construction materials and structural forms are both varied.Among them,the gravity retaining wall has the longest history,it is regarded as the most widely used in a retaining wall currently.Under the prerequisite of carrying out the basic national policy of conserving resources and protecting the environment,the geotextile bag retaining wall has a positive meaning for saving resources and protecting the environment because of its simple construction,low cost,good reinforcement effect and rapid development of environmental protection.In this paper,using sand instead of gravel or construction waste slag and other materials as a polypropylene geotextile bag filled with sand bags piled into a retaining wall for slope protection system.In the past,the construction process of the retaining wall was made of the traditional building materials seemed so complicated,the construction cycle was long and the construction cost was high.In some cases,the retaining wall needs to be removed after construction and can not be reused during the next construction,therefore the result is wasting nature resources.In contrast,geotextile bag retaining wall construction operation is more convenient,the construction cycle is much shorter,the good quality of geotextile bags can be reused in the next construction,it saves the natural resources and engineering costs.The domestic research on geotextile bag retaining wall technology is not complete enough,and its practical application is relatively later.In this paper,the sand is used as the filling material of geotextile bag.Through the indoor model test analysis characteristics and earth pressure distribution law,through measuring the model test earth pressure in order to contrast with the theoretical earth pressure,it improves the design of the sand geotextile bag retaining wall method.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)theoretical analysis of the compressive force of the sand geotextile bags;(2)theoretical analysis of the internal stability of the geotextile bags retaining wall;(3)the geotextile bag ultimate tensile strength test;(4)through the test to determine the best degree of geotextile filling;(5)the physical and mechanical properties of sand;(6)the sand and geotextile bags and the geotextile bag and geotextile bag between the friction characteristics of the experimental study;(7)the soil pressure distribution on the back wall and the wall at different heights of the sand retaining wall under different retaining wall widths and different back slope ratios was studied by model test.The variation law of the settlement of soil under the wall,the wall at different height positions horizontal displacement.The experimental results show that the sand soil is a good filler material for the geotextile bag retaining wall,and the optimum filling force is 80%.The sand bag retaining wall is flexible,Under the wall of a certain deformation,the distribution of earth pressure on the wall of the sand bag retaining wall is different from that of the rigid retaining wall.The back earth pressure of the sand bag retaining wall increases first and then decreases with the height of the wall,showing the distribution of drum type.Showing a similar change characteristics.The influences of different retaining wall widths and different wall back slope ratios on the horizontal displacement of the wall,the wall pressure,the wall pressure and the settlement of the backfill are analyzed.Sand bag retaining wall is convenient to take,good water permeability and simple construction.The research results of this paper hope to provide theoretical guarantee for the design and application of sand bag retaining wall.
