Design Of Intelligent Accompanying Products For Elderly Patients With Mild Alzheimer’s Disease Based On Emotional Memory

As an irreversible human disease,Alzheimer’s disease has brought long-term pain and suffering to many families.The global report issued by the international Alzheimer’s Association in 2020 calls on governments to introduce design into the care and improvement of patients with Alzheimer’s disease,and use the power of design to maintain the dignity of patients in the final stage of life.From the perspective of design,this topic studies how to introduce the emotional memory theory in psychology into product design,use effective design means to help slow down the development speed of mild patients from mild to moderate stage,explore the design methods to reduce the mental pain of patients and reduce the burden of family care,so as to provide valuable reference for the product design of elderly patients with Alzheimer’s disease in the future design theory and practice.Through the systematic arrangement of the interdisciplinary knowledge points involved in this paper,the preliminary research ideas are established.According to the research ideas,first of all,carry out extensive network research,comprehensively analyze the development status of patients with Alzheimer’s disease,capture the pain points of home-based care for Chinese patients with Alzheimer’s disease,explore the research value and direction of this paper,find the shortcomings of the current design research,stimulate innovation,so as to determine the specific research content,methods and framework;then analyze the emotional memory theory On the basis of this theory,this paper constructs the design idea to make theoretical preparation for the research on how to extract emotional elements and apply them to the design of intelligent accompanying products.Then,it carries out the design research on Intelligent accompanying products,investigates and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of existing similar products,and obtains the design problems to be solved in this paper.At the same time,it carries out user research and Analysis on patients in nursing homes and at home.Based on the completion of the previous theoretical research,case analysis and user research,the design orientation,design points,design principles and design methods of the design object of this paper are put forward innovatively,and the design practice is carried out according to the innovative design theory.The research conclusion of this paper is that using intelligent companion robot to serve patients with mild Alzheimer’s disease has great design space.And through the mining of emotional memory theory,it is found that there are many available emotional design elements,which are integrated into the product appearance,practical function and entity interaction form,It can effectively alleviate the emotional state of mild patients and slow down the development of the disease.In the future,we can continue to explore the emotional and emotional materials in patients’ long-term memory,and explore the entity interaction form of integrating them into non drug therapy.
