As one of the main carriers of Chinese historical civilization,Chinese traditional architecture reflects the social spirit and cultural characteristics of a specific period.It is of great historical,cultural and artistic value.The traditional Chinese architecture is based on “cai”,which is suitable for modular and parametric design and construction.The design and construction process of traditional architecture is a process with clear logic and an assembly process of components.With the development of building industry informatization and computer-aided architecture design(CAAD)technology,the realization of component library system management,parametric modeling method and CNC process of Chinese traditional architecture has already become one of the most concerned topics in the industry.Using Revit-Dynamo as the main software platform,taking the corner of Song Dynasty official architecture as an example,the parametric accurate modeling method of structural carpentry system of Chinese traditional architecture is researched.The description of structural carpentry components in "Yingzao fashi " is studied and translated into a digital language that can be recognized and applied by computers.A family library of traditional architectural components is created by Revit to record information to the maximum extent.Dynamo is used for visual programming combined with Design Script language.Digital models are quickly generated by computer programs and packaged into tools for designers to use.In addition,the characteristics of different CNC equipment of wood structure and requirements for data files are researched.And the way to export the corresponding data files quickly by Dynamo is researched,so as to meet the possible numerical control construction requirements.The digital chain system of structural carpentry system of Chinese traditional architecture is explored in this paper.Revit-Dynamo parameterized modeling application is established.The non-3D scanning parameterized recording of building information in the protection of architectural heritage is implemented.And a parametric design tool for antique building design is developed.
