Research On Parametric Modeling Of Carpentry Work In Tang Dynasty Based On BIM

The protection of ancient buildings is one of China’s key cultural relics protection projects.Previous methods for preservation of ancient building information,such as two-dimensional mapping drawings,photographs,images,electronic cad drawings or three-dimensional models,cannot accurately and comprehensively carry all the information of ancient buildings.,are not conducive to the management of ancient architecture and the inheritance of ancient architectural heritage.The application of BIM is an entirely new method for the preservation and management of ancient architectural information.Discussed in this study,on the basis of the value of the buildings in the tang dynasty,first of all,the analysis of the modular system of tang dynasty architecture,found that the "face" by material idea coincide with BIM parameterized concept,application of BIM technology can intuitively reflect the ancient architecture of the component internal relations;Use BIM software to make the corresponding component database do artifacts "a modification,update" everywhere,can make the artifacts made by changing the parameters used in different buildings in tang dynasty,to reduce the repeated work,improve work efficiency,reduce errors.On this basis,the study of existing in the tang dynasty wooden structure characteristic,after analysis and comparison,choose the most representative wutai Buddha temple,the east hall as instances of parameterized modeling,read the related data of surveying and mapping,physical photos,due to the imperfection of existing data of surveying and mapping,with the help of relevant literatures and reasonable BIM software component composition is derived,get the ideal state of Buddha temple hall component library,component library as a wutai mountain Buddha temple east hall big wooden model.From the making process of the parametric model to extract the systematic framework of building parametric modeling in the tang dynasty,with reference to the guiding ideology of parameterized modeling principle,BIM software,by means of the operation process of ancient buildings as a result of the application of parametric model,3 person of the trinity of organic whole,for later ancient building parametric information storage.
