| The epidemic of COVID-19 is a public health emergency of international concern.Cities and communities in China have taken various measures to control the outbreak effectively.The epidemic has been brought under control thanks to the efforts of organizations and individuals,but it continues to exist as a new normalization.To control community transmission,measures such as gated community management and public place control are mainly adopted.The implementation of these measures has a significant impact on the residents of Nanhu Settlement.Also,it is a new opportunity to reexamine Nanhu Settlement not only from a daily perspective.The epidemic has put Nanhu Settlement in a new condition,which is conflicts with daily life but doesn’t completely contradict it.Based on the two specific epidemic phenomena,the contradiction between the closed management and the daily opening of Nanhu Settlement as well as the imbalance between the gated unit life circle and the daily life circle,this paper focuses on the three research contents,the physical space boundary,community public space,and community service facilities.The author carries out a comparative study from the two perspectives of daily and epidemic situations,summarizes and emphasizes the commonalities and characteristics from the two different perspectives.Based on the analysis of the demands for spatial renewal and community governance,this paper puts forward the renewal strategy for the three research contents from the combined perspective of normality and epidemic,supplemented by the empirical design research.The research aims to promote the practice of old community renewal from the combined perspective of normality and epidemic.At the same time,it is also expected to provide certain reference values and new ideas for the current urban community renewal and future community construction. |
