The manufacturing industry has always been regarded as the pillar of the country and society for providing the products and employment necessary for human life.Intelligent manufacturing technology is increasingly replacing traditional manufacturing technology to become the development direction of manufacturing industry,and European & American developed countries as well as China have introduced a large number of incentive policies to promote the development of intelligent manufacturing,so the number of intelligent manufacturing projects is increasing.However,research into the design of intelligent manufacturing plants has not made much progress,for example caused by lack of research on intelligent manufacturing plant design principle,lead to intelligent manufacturing plants design can’t meet the functional requirements of intelligent manufacturing,then intelligent manufacturing seized up and carry on difficultly,so the basic principles of plant design in intelligent manufacturing becomes significant and urgent.Firstly this study introduces the concept of manufacturing and traditional industrial plant,explains the development status of intelligent manufacturing and existing problems in intelligent manufacturing plant design,then further explained the concept of intelligent manufacturing plant and design principle concept and the conceptual framework of this study.Secondly this study make investigation by focus group and questionnaire field,and found that there are some problems in design of intelligent manufacturing plant,such as unreasonable layout of the plant,insufficient information level of the plant,and insufficient consideration of the humanized design of the internal environment of the plant,etc.Thirdly this study clear about the functional requirements for plant of intelligent manufacturing technology,intelligent manufacture equipment and intelligent manufacturing system and determine that the intelligent manufacturing plant design needs to meet the requirements of plant layout,factory information requirements,intelligent equipment and factory internal environment humanization design requirements according to the functional requirements research through to investigate case of intelligent manufacturing plant and make interview&information collection with experts and workers who actually work in intelligent manufacturing plant.Fourthly this study deduces the corresponding design principles,design methods,design elements and other content of intelligent manufacturing plant design principles according to the above design requirements,and discussed intelligent manufacturing plant design element combination method,then analyzes the advantages and specific application of BIM technology in intelligent manufacturing plant design.Finally this study used the analysis of design principle of intelligent manufacturing plants in engineering design example,through using design principle of intelligent manufacturing plant layout design,information design,intelligent equipment design and factory internal environment concrete application of humanized design,and verify the feasibility of design principle by checking actual use results of intelligent manufacturing modification of existing plant,so rationality and maneuverability of intelligent manufacturing plant design basic principle in this article research has been confirmed.Value of this study is to preliminary discussion and research on the theory of intelligent manufacturing plant design,and apply related design theory in design practice and achieved good effect,so this study has certain innovative in the field of intelligent manufacturing plant design study,and has a certain reference value in deep research and further practice in the field of intelligent manufacturing plant design study.
