With the rapid and steady development of my country’s social economy,the number of motor vehicles has increased year by year,and the resulting air pollution has become more and more serious,while the awareness of active low-carbon travel among urban residents is relatively weak.In recent years,the Chinese government has proposed to vigorously improve the public travel experience,promote mobile APP information products,encourage the use of green transportation products,focus on fostering a green transportation culture,and strengthen low-carbon travel guarantees.This article aims to improve the awareness of low-carbon travel among urban residents.Based on the low-carbon travel mode of urban residents,this article explores the interface design of travel Apps from the perspective of user experience to encourage and promote residents to actively choose low-carbon travel.First of all,I have done a lot of reading and sorting of the literature,deeply understand and analyze the research and development status of low-carbon travel at home and abroad.Combining the user-oriented user research process,this paper analyzes competing products for similar products currently on the market,and sorts out the advantages and disadvantages of similar products in terms of interface design and functional design.The research methods of questionnaire survey and user interviews were used to conduct in-depth investigations of travel users,and summarize the target users’ requirements for the interface design and function of low-carbon travel products.Secondly,the in-depth research on the APP interface design has explored the principles and methods of page layout,color matching,text specification,icon design and picture specification in interface design.Through the exploration and research on the related concepts and significance of low-carbon travel,as well as the research on the carbon emissions and carbon emission accounting standards of different travel modes,analyze and summarize four travel modes with lower carbon emissions in urban life.They are: walking,bicycle,bus,subway.Using user-centered design strategies,the application methods of sensory and emotional experience in user experience in the interface design and functional design of travel apps are analyzed.And applied to the "Carbon Road" APP,the interface design,low-fidelity and high-fidelity of the "Carbon Road" APP have been completely designed.Finally,the design scheme of "Carbon Road" APP was tested and evaluated in combination with usability testing methods.
