Study On Urban Residents’ Transportation Mode Choice Behavior Under The Concept Of Green And Low Carbon

With the continuous expansion of cities and towns in our country and the continuous improvement of urban economic and social development,exploring the mechanism of green and low carbon travel,and reasonably guiding city residents to choose low carbon and environmental protection travel modes have become the current issues to be solved for sustainable development.Based on the influence of travel satisfaction and low-carbon psychological decision-making on residents’ travel in Nanchang under the environment of low-carbon policies,this paper conducts research from the following four aspects:(1)Combined with the urban construction and development of Nanchang,conducts RP survey and SP survey on residents’ travel.(2)The travel behavior characteristics of residents were studied from five aspects: traveler’s personal statistical characteristics,family attribute characteristics,travel behavior characteristics,travel satisfaction,and low-carbon psychological characteristics.(3)A model was built for the relationship between residents’ reliability,convenience,safety and satisfaction in daily travel under the influence of low-carbon policies,and a study on travel satisfaction was conducted.(4)Low carbon psychological latent variables were taken as one of the influencing factors of travel choice.Combined with travelers’ personal attributes and travel attributes,multi-index and multi-factor mime-multiple logit mixed selection model was constructed to study residents’ travel mode,distance and frequency selection under low carbon policies.The results of model operation are analyzed to provide a scientific basis for the improvement of travel service in Nanchang.The study found that travel satisfaction mainly depends on the reliability,convenience and safety of travel,and most residents believe that hygiene has a certain impact on safety.Compared with the traditional multinomial logit model,the established mixed selection model with low carbon psychological latent variables has better overall indexes.Seven low carbon psychological latent variables all have a certain degree of influence on travel choice;The group of high age,travel for sport entertainment,travel frequency is less willing to choose the travel mode of low-carbon and environmental protection;In addition,those with high monthly income and private cars are more willing to choose private and high-carbon modes of travel.By adding the influence factors of low carbon psychology and analyzing the travel characteristics of Nanchang residents,low carbon policies that are more suitable for urban development can be worked out.
