Research On The Changes Of Suzhou Ancient City Residence From The Perspective Of Modernity

Residence is the place container that carries People’s Daily life.It takes a large proportion in the city and is widely distributed.Because of its daily and universal,it is not as popular as public buildings.Therefore,modernity always appears inadvertently in residential buildings.Those once seemed common residential features,looking back today,has been able to analyze the clue of the development of modernity.With the development of social economy and science and technology in today’s China,the development of residential faces the dilemma of modernity: due to the capital and the trend of The Times,scores in residential design too much use of instrumental rationality,make originally easy construction in order to live,become a kind of means of physical discipline,there was no habitation become widespread social reality.Especially for Suzhou,a famous historical and cultural city,how to build a Suzhou residence under the unique cultural and geographical environment? How should it develop after encountering the dilemma of modernity? How to grasp the autonomy of residential buildings in the tide of modernity and explore the real Suzhou residential buildings? This requires us to look at the period when suzhou stepped into modernity for the first time--suzhou modern times,to explore the changes of suzhou housing from the perspective of modernity,and to explore the development path of modern housing in the construction of modern housing,so that we can realize the "poetic residence".In this paper to the modern period of the ancient city of suzhou residence as the research object,based on relevant historical documents in combination with field investigation of the republic of China in late qing dynasty,the ancient city of suzhou housing under "idea,plan,the entity" associated clues studies under the change.There are six chapters in this paper,including four chapters in the main body,from the perspectives of housing concept,picture construction and entity construction.Firstly,this paper analyzes the change of people’s cognition of traditional housing under the background of new trend of thought,describes the features and key points of new housing,and demonstrates with the drawings of Suzhou housing published in newspapers and periodicals.The conclusion is that the modern residence has completed the concept transformation from social residence to physical residence.Then,the paper sorts out the construction process of Suzhou’s housing picture,analyzes the action of Suzhou’s construction of "housing city",the measures of residential improvement in the ancient city,and the discussion on the style of Suzhou’s housing under the background of social construction trend.The conclusion is that the regulations,plans and assumptions of suzhou municipal government seldom come true,but they all participate in the construction of suzhou housing landscape,and have a far-reaching impact on the construction of suzhou housing.Finally,the paper analyzes the key cases of Suzhou modern private houses and Lilong houses,and extracts the features of relevant cases to analyze the similarities and differences between Suzhou modern houses and the national housing landscape.The conclusion is that the development of Suzhou private housing keeps pace with the national housing landscape in terms of layout and equipment technology,and reflects the regionalism of Suzhou housing in terms of the preservation of traditional functional space and the diversified selection of building facade materials.The location and construction time of the residential buildings in Suzhou are affected by the municipal construction in Suzhou.In the living conditions inferior to private housing,small scale,there was a grade differentiation.There are about 65 thousands Chinese words and 90 illustrations in the thesis.
