Research On The Vitality Renewal Strategy Of Old Neighborhoods Under The Background Of Urban Renewal

In the process of rapid urbanization,the scale of urban renewal continues to expand,and the demolition of many old neighborhoods has caused serious damage to the traditional texture of the city.With the protection of urban historical features taking root in the hearts of the people,people not only realize that old neighborhoods are the true carrier of urban material culture,but also the spatial container of urban intangible culture.In this context,the development model of old neighborhoods has gradually shifted from "large-scale demolition and large-scale construction" to "small-scale,gradual" organic renewal.This paper aims at the problems existing in the renewal process of old neighborhoods in my country,from the perspective of space and place,cuts into the research of old neighborhoods and spatial vitality,interprets related concepts,and explores the influence and function of material and non-material factors in the vitality of old neighborhoods.First of all,this article selects Wuhan Gejiaying old neighborhood as a sample,and compares the changes in the material space,spiritual culture space and social space before and after the renewal of Gejiaying.This article points out that the renewal of Gejiaying focuses on the improvement of material factors such as the built environment and road traffic,while ignoring the influence of non-material factors such as regional culture and traditional customs.This article proposes that the promotion of spatial vitality of old neighborhoods requires targeted research in terms of the types,quantity and importance of vitality influencing factors.Then,the research combines literature review and field investigation to screen the factors that affect the spatial vitality of old neighborhoods.The research uses questionnaires to score impact factors,and uses factor analysis to build a three-level old neighborhood space vitality evaluation system: "evaluation indicators-vitality elements-impact factors".The study found that the spatial vitality of the old neighborhood is affected by three factors: the vitality of material space,the vitality of spiritual and cultural space,and the vitality of social space.Finally,on the basis of the evaluation of the spatial vitality of the old neighborhoods of Gejiaying,corresponding strategies are proposed for the follow-up renewal of Gejiaying,which provides a reference for the renewal of old neighborhoods in the process of urbanization in my country.
