With a large number of high-rise buildings,elevators,as a kind of vertical transportation equipment,are running stroke and speed of the elevator at higher and higher speeds,and the requirements for comfort and safety are also increasing.That’s why the performance study of key components of elevators is essential.The dynamics of the elevator structure can be studied by combining modeling simulation and visualization analysis to better understand its dynamic performance.Accordingly,the dynamic characteristics of the structure and the safety clamp braking performance were studied by simulating the traction elevator car frame system and the safety clamp using the finite element method and the dynamics analysis software ADAMS,respectively.The details are as follows.(1)The 3D modeling of the car frame structure and the progressive safety clamp among the key components of a model of traction elevator was carried out,and ANSYS Workbench was used to conduct static analysis of the structure,mainly for the upper beam,lower beam and straight beam of the car frame and the clamp frame,U-shaped leaf spring,fixed wedge and movable clamp block of the safety clamp,to verify that each key component meets the strength and stiffness requirements.(2)In order to investigate the horizontal dynamics characteristics of the elevator car frame in the starting state,a transient dynamics analysis model of the car frame was established.Firstly,the transient dynamics analysis was carried out for the starting state of the elevator car frame under no-load condition.In view of the small design margin of the transient deformation of the straight beam,the appropriate structural strengthening of the straight beam was carried out.On this basis,the transient dynamic analysis of the car frame under the full load condition was carried out.The transient stress,deformation and vibration characteristics curves with time were obtained.At the same time,the vibration characteristics of the car frame under the starting state under no-load conditions were verified by experiments.(3)Based on the analysis of the braking theory of the progressive safety clamp,ADAMS dynamics analysis software was used to simulate the kinematics and dynamics of the progressive safety clamp.The braking speed,acceleration and distance curves with time of the safety clamp were obtained to analyze its braking performance,And simulate and analyze the influence of friction coefficient and load size change on the braking performance during the braking process of the safety clamp,to provide some reference for the structural design and improvement of the safety clamp.
