Since entering the new century,with the continuous development of China’s economy and the increasing frequency of business activities,the hotel industry has also developed rapidly,especially the increasingly fierce competition in the medium and high-end hotel market in recent years.In order to seize the market share,all hotel investment companies began to pay attention to hotel decoration,and the standard of hotel decoration has been continuously improved.How to control the decoration cost on the premise of meeting the hotel brand positioning and operation requirements has become the focus of all hotel investment enterprises.XA Urban Construction Investment Group Co.,Ltd.,as a state-owned enterprise subordinate to XA new area,in order to improve regional supporting facilities,improve urban quality and speed up the company’s market-oriented transformation,invested and developed XA Novotel Hotel,a four-star international chain hotel,within phase I of the starting area of the new central business District of Xi’an.Taking XA Novotel Hotel as an example,this paper analyzes the problems and causes of the whole process cost control in the five stages of early investment decision-making,project design,bidding,construction management and project settlement of hotel decoration engineering project,and finds that there are lack of awareness of the whole process cost control of the project,insufficient professional ability of project cost control The project cost control system is imperfect,the project cost control system is imperfect,and the dynamic management means of project cost are backward.In view of these problems,we conducted in-depth research,proposed to improve cost control from six aspects:changing cost control concept,implementing cost control responsibility,strengthening cost control function construction,optimizing project cost management process,improving cost control system,strengthening project management and promoting cost reduction and efficiency,and proposed to establish a perfect company organizational structure in combination with the actual situation of the company Strengthen human resources guarantee,strengthen information construction and enrich financial management means to ensure the smooth development of improvement work.This paper aims to study the problems and their causes in the cost control of XA Novotel Hotel decoration project,and in view of the representativeness of relevant cost management problems in XA urban investment group,formulate corresponding improvement measures for the problems,which is of great practical significance to guide the future renovation and decoration of XA Novotel Hotel and promote the cost management of subsequent projects of XA urban investment group.At the same time,it also provides reference experience for cost management of other hotel decoration projects in the industry. |
