| How to realize the architectural creation with Chinese cultural characteristics in the context of globalization? Contemporary architects have actively carried out the practice of localized architecture. The inheritance and development of the regionalism of Chinese traditional dwellings is also an important branch of it.After thousands of years of historical accumulation, traditional dwellings are one of the most regional architectural types, which are rooted in different local conditions and historical contexts in different parts of China. Its regionalism is easy to distinguish from the appearance, but the more inherent differences are reflected in the regional spatial characteristics. The space of traditional dwellings in water towns in the south of the Yangtze River is an outstanding representative of traditional dwellings in China in terms of reflecting climate and geomorphic features. The constitution law and organization of the traditional space are based on the unique regional environment in the south of the Yangtze River, which embodies the profound understanding of the nature of the ancients and the wisdom of coordinating with it.However,in the context of new urbanization, traditional dwellings in the south of the Yangtze River are gradually homogenized by commercial tourism, and the original living space carrying public memory, life style and regional culture is gradually losing its authenticity. At the same time, people pay more attention to the application of partial technology. However, the original coordination between nature, architecture and people in the low-tech historical environment of traditional residential space was ignored. It is particularly important to follow the objective laws of natural development, comply with climate change, and respect the original landform,so as to reduce the energy consumption of building operation and improve the ecological environment. In this paper the author defined the jiangnan geography research scope, namely to hangzhou, suzhou,Shanghai, the three economic developed city as the core radiation surrounding areas south plains waterfront town, based on the characteristics of climate and physiognomy jiangnan traditional dwellings space composition types as the main research content, the type is converted to secondary research content, only rational scrutiny.Through the four aspects of "regional environment cognition-functional relationship analysis-spatial prototype extraction-prototype and contemporary case comparison and feasibility type conversion",the research route is advanced layer by layer.Firstly, this paper analyzes the climate and geomorphological characteristics of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River, and evaluates the effects caused by them,so as to find out the effective ranking of passive design based on climate environment.Based on the design principles of geomorphological environment,an overall cognition of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River is established.Secondly, from the perspective of natural ecological view and the relationship between man and land, this paper summarizes the relationship between climate, landform and the adaptive space of traditional dwellings in Jiangnan water towns.Thirdly, based on the actual cases of traditional dwellings in water towns in the south of the Yangtze River, the spatial structure prototype of climate and geomorphic adaptability is extracted quantitatively and qualitatively respectively.Fourthly, combining the contemporary typical regional architectural cases of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River with the spatial prototypes of climate and geomorphology adaptability, the feasibility of type conversion method is proposed. This paper hope through to the jiangnan traditional local-style dwelling houses of climate and physiognomy adaptive space composition characteristics of extraction and type conversion, when called for in the jiangnan region of contemporary regional architecture design, inheriting the essence of traditional dwellings and find common points between today’s sustainable development,to solve the problem of today’s energy use for reference and comfortable living space environment. |
