Curriculum thinking politics is a new thinking of Chinese education about the fundamental task of establishing moral education,which provides a unique point for the teaching reform of colleges and universities in the new era.Curriculum thinking politics is not only a theoretical issue of teaching concept but also a practical issue of discipline construction.In practice,different disciplines should start from themselves,based on the current situation and future direction,and explore the methodology that meets their development.The industrial design profession originated from the industrial revolution in the West and developed rapidly in China after the reform and opening up.The rise of industrial design in China is accompanied by the modernization process of the country,which determines that Chinese industrial design education must explore the formation of local concepts and models.Studying the construction of curriculum thinking and politics of industrial design majors can be a new perspective in the direction of designing education reform in China.The College of Design and Art of Hunan University is the first institution in China to offer industrial design,Its discipline construction and educational reform are both cutting-edge and representative.The research on the curriculum of Hunan University’s industrial design program can provide a reference for other universities or disciplines in two dimensions: professional education and political education.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the development of "Civic Education Course" and"Curriculum Civic Education" in Hunan University’s industrial design majors and summarizes the advantages and characteristics of Hunan University’s industrial design majors’ Civic Education Course and Curriculum Civic Education based on the description of current situation,typical cases,questionnaire survey,and interview analysis,etc.Based on the description of the the current situation,special issues,questionnaires,interviews,etc,this thesis summarizes the advantages and characteristics of Hunan University’s industrial design course and course thinking,and future challenges.Secondly,according to holistic thinking,this thesis discusses the rationality of constructing the linkage path of "curriculum and thinking politics" based on the summary and analysis of Hunan University’s industrial design major.Finally,returning to the industrial design major itself,from the perspective of cultivating Chinese design talents,this thesis proposes four ways to build the linkage path of"curriculum and thought politics": "linkage by teaching strategy," linkage by teaching form,"and "linkage by teaching style." This thesis proposes four ways to build the linkage path of"curriculum and ideology": "linkage by teaching strategy," "linkage by teaching form,""linkage by teaching team" and "linkage by teaching knowledge";and chooses some of the construction methods and applies it to the case MOOC "Learning Design and Making Product."China’s industrial design education is constantly exploring how to form a local paradigm and thinking about how to cultivate Chinese design talents.The core of ideological and political education and professional education is to nurture people.For this reason,the study of the linkage between curriculum and ideology and politics can be a comprehensive,long-term,and systematic research topic in the reform and development of design education in China.
