| With the development of society, people’s living standards are improving day by day, people are paying more and more attention to oral health, and people’s demand for products is constantly escalating, and they are no longer just satisfied with basic functions. The prevalence of children’s oral cavity in my country is high, but the current status of the industry and design of children’s dental treatment products cannot keep up with people’s needs. In the dental treatment process and the design process of the dental comprehensive treatment table, the needs of children are not paid attention to.Due to children’s special psychological characteristics, their ability to understand and accept things is limited, and poor treatment experience is more likely to lead to the occurrence of dental fear. When designing a dental comprehensive treatment table,in order to help solve people’s escalating emotional experience needs,it is necessary to pay more attention to the emotional needs of children and patients under the premise of ensuring the functions of medical devices, and use emotional design concepts to guide the design.Children’s dental treatment products should be "child-oriented",through emotional design to improve the medical experience of children patients, which can effectively increase the affinity and market competitiveness of the product. This article started from the investigation of the current situation of children’s dental treatment, compareed and analyzes the current situation of domestic and foreign dental products, refined the pain points, and discovered the problems in the process of children’s dental treatment.Through the research of emotional design theory and ergonomics theory, combined the theoretical basis of emotional design, summarized the principles of emotional design, and constructed the design method for the research object of this topic-the comprehensive treatment table of children’s dentistry. Then combed and analyzed the psychological and physiological characteristics of children, conducted field surveys and questionnaire surveys of target users, and summarized the needs of target users. Finally, with the emotional design method as the theoretical guide, the children’s dental comprehensive treatment table was designed and improved from the aspects of mechanical structure,human-computer interaction, shape, color and material to meet the emotional needs of children. The size of the mechanical structure was designed under the guidance of ergonomic principles, and then optimized and redesigned through kinematics simulation analysis. The service design part analyzed stakeholders, conducted field visits to experience the children’s dental treatment process, and constructed a user’s treatment journey map based on optimal planning. In the service design part, through the analysis of multi-stakeholders and field visits to experience the process of children’s dental treatment, the user’s treatment journey map can be constructed with optimal planning. The shape, color and material of the dental comprehensive treatment table were sketched and modeled based on the survey results and the quantitative analysis results of the semantic difference method. To improve the special care for children in the human-computer interaction process, the human-computer interaction interface was optimized based on the principles of ergonomics and emotional design theory and through the ergonomics software analysis to verify that the human-machine interface conforms to the rules of product use.Nowadays, the design and application of emotional design theory in children’s dentistry comprehensive treatment table is becoming more and more important. In this regard,my country still has a lot of room for improvement in the combination of emotion and medical products, and it is still necessary to strengthen the practical application. Both theoretical research and design and production require the collaboration and efforts of scholars and designers to produce and design children’s dental comprehensive treatment tables that are more in line with children’s or emotional needs and enhance the experience of use.The paper has 76 pictures,12 tables, and 77 references. |
