Research/Study On Emotional Design Of Children’s Dental Medical Devices

In the design and application of oral medical devices for children,adult products are generally used for children,and some of them only reduce the size of adult products.The color is monotonous,and the comfort and adaptability are poor,which can not meet the needs of children.The designer should study the users of children group,including their psychological and physiological characteristics,and analyze the psychological characteristics and behavior of medical staff and parents of children,so as to design oral medical devices to meet the emotional needs of children.In this thesis,emotional design theory as the main theoretical basis,through literature research,user research and case product analysis method,the user needs analysis in emotional three levels.Based on the design process of children’s dental comprehensive treatment bed,combined with the user’s needs in shape,function,color and other aspects,this thesis extracts the design elements in the instinct level,behavior level and reflection level,aiming at the emotional needs of children in the process of medical treatment The factors of behavior ability and the principle of ease of use of medical staff are used to design medical products that can meet the emotional needs of children and improve the work efficiency of medical staff.Through the innovation and redesign of products,it reflects the humanistic care for the vulnerable group of children.At the same time,explore a good medical environment for emotional needs,and achieve the purpose of improving the treatment efficiency,optimizing the medical process and enhancing the medical effect,so as to provide the best emotional medical experience for children.This topic is a research on the design of oral medical devices for children patients.It takes the user as the center,fully considers the operation comfort of medical staff,and uses the emotional design theory to innovate the design of children’s medical environment and oral medical devices,so as to explore the new emotional medical experience of children’s oral patients.
