With the rapid development of the society, the process of urbanization is accelerating, the rural population loss is serious, and rural buildings gradually develop and integrate into urban architectural space, which is the embodiment of social development and progress. However,at the same time, the original features have disappeared during the development.A lot of traditional architectural spaces have disappeared, and the characteristics of regional architecture gradually disappear.Through the process of the whole history, what stages have regional residential buildings gone through and what changes have taken place to evolve to today’s residential form is a question worth studying, and the research in this process that is discussed based on the regional residential architecture is very valuable. In recent years,China has put forward“valuable”and“new rural construction”,which shall not only solve housing and living problems of the rural population, but also improve the quality of the overall environment, put forward higher requirements on the living quality, and create the residential architecture and living space form by combing with the local environment by taking people as the core. The author holds that for national and regional residential buildings,it is necessary to establish the space form continuing the traditional spatial texture and reflecting the unique ethnic living culture, but not to make new residential buildings uniformly. The Korean nationality has experienced many years of history since migrating from the Korean Peninsula in the mid-19thcentury.There are a lot of Korean in Huifa River Basin,Tonghua City,Jilin Province, including Meihekou,Liuhe County and Huinan County.Their distinctive cultural heritage is reflected in the layout of traditional residential buildings, which has formed unique living style and residential space in this basin. At present, through many years of evolution and development in the Northeast, the Korean nationality has new spatial characteristics and population patterns. This paper knows the general situation of the basin and determines the specific research object through analyzing the natural environment and topography of the basin as well as the migration history and route of the local Korean nationality;explores the characteristics of rural living space and the evolution of Huifa River Basin through summarizing the space form of settlements and the space form of residential buildings form of residential buildings;and explores the dynamic mechanism of residential space evolution through analyzing the transfer of the production mode, residential behavior and residential behavior of the Korean nationality. For the present Korean settlement, the reconstruction of their residential space and rural social form through effective management is the key to optimize the internal structure of the Korean regional system and to protect the living culture of the Korean nationality.Based on understanding the characteristics of the living space and the evolution of the Korean nationality in the Huifa River Basin, this paper explores the future development of the contemporary Korean nationality, meets the residents’higher living requirements based on restoring the living culture and traditional living space of the Korean nationality by combing with the development background of modern rural settlements, integrates the modern development and the space with national characteristics, and explores the reconstruction principles and reconstruction strategies of residential buildings in the Huifa River Basin.Combined with the above theory and research, this paper put forwards the reconstruction scheme for the living space of the Korean nationality in the Huifa River Basin, which is hoped to provide help for the protection of national residential culture and provide a way for the renewal and development of national residential buildings in the new era.
