With the development of China’s economy and the progress of science and technology,with the support of national policies,the application of steel structure residence is more and more widely.At present,in the practice and research of steel structure residence,H-section column and box section column are mostly used as vertical support components.However,Hsection members can be divided into strong axis and weak axis,and the stiffness of weak axis is obviously lower than that of strong axis;It is difficult to add diaphragm in the joint of box section member,which affects the welding quality and mechanical properties of the member.Therefore,the steel special-shaped column with open section can be introduced to solve these problems.The steel special-shaped column with open section can solve the problem of stiffness difference between strong axis and weak axis of H-section member and the problem of difficult processing of inner diaphragm of box section member,which is worth popularizing in steel structure system.In the steel special-shaped column structure system,the L-shaped,cross-shaped,T-shaped and other cross-section special-shaped columns are mainly used as the vertical support components.Due to the specificity and asymmetry of steel special-shaped columns,their mechanical properties and seismic performance are significantly different from those of steel box columns and H-shaped columns.China is located between the circum Pacific seismic belt and the Eurasian seismic belt.The earthquake disaster has caused great economic losses and casualties in China.So far,it is difficult to make an accurate prediction of the earthquake,and the damage caused by the earthquake is also difficult to avoid.Therefore,the seismic performance-based design of steel special-shaped column structure system is helpful to improve the reliability of seismic design and avoid the safety accidents caused by earthquake;It also provides the basis for the seismic design of steel special-shaped column structure system,gives full play to the advantages of steel special-shaped column industry,and promotes the application of steel special-shaped column structure system in the residential industry.According to the characteristics of high-rise steel frame eccentrically braced structure with special-shaped columns,this paper puts forward the seismic performance objectives,performance standards and performance design objectives.Taking a high-rise steel frame eccentrically braced structure system as the research object,a high-rise steel frame eccentrically braced structure model with special-shaped columns is established by using the design software PKPM-STS.Under the frequent earthquake and wind load,the static elastic analysis of steel specialshaped column frame eccentrically braced structure is carried out by using the design software PKPM-SATWE and Midas Gen.the period and mode direction,displacement ratio and displacement angle,shear weight ratio and rigid weight ratio of steel special-shaped column eccentrically braced structure under two different mechanical models are compared The shear stiffness ratio and the shear bearing capacity ratio provide an accurate mechanical model for the performance-based design of steel structures under earthquake.According to the relevant seismic performance-based design requirements of "standard for design steel structures" GB 50017,the seismic performance-based design of steel frame eccentrically braced structure with special-shaped columns is carried out by using design software PKPM-SATWE and Midas Gen,The displacement ratio,displacement angle and shear weight ratio of steel special-shaped column eccentrically braced structure under two different mechanical models are compared.By comparing the results of seismic fortification and frequent earthquakes,it is verified that the structural stiffness changes under seismic fortification can meet the performance-based design goal of the structural model.Under the rare earthquake,the static elasto-plastic analysis of steel frame eccentrically braced structure with special-shaped columns under the rare earthquake is carried out by using the design software PKPM-PUSH.The structural demand spectrum and capacity spectrum,the overall deformation of the structural model at the performance point,the plastic damage of the structural column components in the process of non-linear analysis,and the capacity spectrum are verified The comparison between the base shear force under the performance point and the base shear force under the small earthquake and other performance indicators,whether the level of "strong earthquake does not collapse" can be achieved under the rare earthquake.The research results of this paper can provide the basis for the seismic performance-based design of steel frame eccentrically braced structure with special-shaped columns,which has important basic theoretical significance and engineering application reference value.
