With the diversification of construction projects and the standardization of information technology,the construction industry has increasingly higher requirements for the sustainable development of construction projects.Building information modeling as a carrier builds an information exchange platform for all project participants.In the integrated project delivery model,the project participants collaborate with each other throughout the life cycle to make the BIM model fully utilized.Therefore,encouraging the application of the BIM-based IPD model in China is an inevitable trend to ensure the stable development of the construction industry.However,the interests of the project participants are different and the relationship between the influencing factors caused by all parties is also intertwined and complicated.So this paper associates the influencing factors of the application of the BIM-based IPD model with the stakeholders of the project,studies the relationship between the influencing factors and combines the IPD model in the application stage of China to give management suggestions to promote its application.The construction project involves a wide range of subjects throughout its life cycle,and there are multiple stakeholders and collaborative relationships among stakeholders,which makes the BIM-based IPD model have a network-based organizational model and characteristics in the application process.Based on the contractual relationship and participation degree of various stakeholders in the construction project,this paper defines the stakeholders involved in the application of the BIM-based IPD model as the owner,general contractor,designer,supplier,subcontractor,consultant,government agency and scientific research institutions.Since the application of BIM-based IPD mode has the characteristics of social network,determining the method of social network analysis is one of the research methods in this article.The literature survey method is used to screen out the influencing factors that affect the application of the BIM-based IPD model and classify them with various stakeholders.Obtain the importance of each influencing factor through the questionnaire survey method,remove the less important factors and initially determine the list of influencing factors.Simplify the influencing factors in the list through the hierarchical clustering method to obtain the key factors.Identify the relationship between key factors through the Delphi method and use Ucinet 6 to build a key factor network model.Through the analysis of the overall indicators of the network model,the network density and node cohesion are obtained.The network centrality is analyzed to obtain the direct relevance and control ability of each key factor in the network model.The network connection hub is analyzed to obtain the number of times that different factors act as intermediaries.Combining the results of social network analysis can get the key factors that have strong influence and connection hub characteristics in the network model.By focusing on controlling these two types of key factors,the network model is optimized to reduce the mutual influence between factors.Finally,combining the three stages of the application of the IPD model in China,the implementation strategy and management recommendations for promoting the application of the BIM-based IPD model are proposed.
