Research On The Evolution And Influencing Factors Of Urban Spatial Morphology In Shekou,Shenzhen

Shenzhen is my country’s first special economic zone,and Shekou is the "special zone in the special zone",one year and two months before the establishment of the Shenzhen special economic zone.Shekou is the pioneer of Shenzhen’s urban construction and the "test tube" of China’s reform and opening up.It is of great significance in the history of my country’s reform and opening up.Since the establishment of the Shekou Industrial Zone in January 1979,the Shekou Area has undergone a process of transformation from an industrial zone to a comprehensive urban area,and its urban spatial form has also been constantly changing,and it carries economic and social activities at various stages of development.At present,the Shekou area is in a new era of the development of the Greater Bay Area and the Free Trade Zone,and its urban spatial morphology will be further transformed.Summarizing the evolution process,characteristics and influencing factors of Shekou’s urban spatial form can provide a basis for its scientific and reasonable spatial optimization and promotion.Conducive to improving the quality of space planning and construction.The study on the evolution of the spatial form of Shekou area has important practical significance.This paper takes the spatial form of Shekou area from 1979 to 2019 as the research object,and uses historical research methods such as literature research,field investigation and interviews to sort out the evolution of the urban spatial form of Shekou area and divide it into four stages,namely the skeleton Formation stage(1979-1985),enrichment stage(1986-1998),internal optimization and external expansion stage(1999-2008),and quality improvement stage(2009-2019).At the same time,the process and characteristics of the spatial morphology evolution of the Shekou area are specifically analyzed from the four spatial morphological elements of external contour,functional structure,road network shape and block shape.In addition,according to the classification of natural fundamental forces,external influences(policy,planning,transportation)and internal driving forces(industry,population,values),the effects of each type of factor on the urban spatial form of Shekou area are discussed.The study found that each spatial form element is affected by a variety of factors,but the main influencing factors are different;and the leading factors in each stage of the spatial form evolution of the Shekou area are constantly changing,and the initial stage is jointly affected by multiple factors.With the development of cities,the influence of natural geographical conditions,population,and cultural factors has gradually weakened,but planning,industry,policies,and transportation factors have a strong influence in many stages.
