Design Study On Ling Nan Residential Entrance Waterscape In The View Of Life Cycle

Natural waterscape is commonly found at the entrance of residential settlements,combining with people’s daily life and production,has become a regional cultural landscape.Affected by this,various waterscapes are still adopted in entrance design nowadays as the landmark of residential landscape node.It provides space for viewing,activities and leisure,realizes microclimate regulation,reflects regional culture,and has multiple values.At present,the planning and design process of many residential entrance waterscape often ignores the problems of later use and operation and maintenance management.The ideal design conflicts with the actual situation,enhances water features failure after the completion,and the low utilization and even dilapidated abandoned,affecting the landscape of the city and other problems,brings about serious waste of resources.This study examines the sustainable value of the entrance waterscape of residential area from life cycle aspects,analyzes and summarizes various factors and technical problems affecting applications in the actual operation involving later operation and maintenance,integrates whole process design strategy and method of the entrance waterscape,providing guidance for relevant practice.In order to help improving the rationality,adaptability and durability of Ling nan residential landscape design,which is conducive to the long-term healthy development of urban green community.This research adopts methods such as literature analysis,systematic induction,field investigation and practical application.。Based on the field investigation analysis and literature research,this study proposes the life cycle of Ling nan residential entrance waterscape design,analyzes the relevant theories and concepts of landscape design,expounds the whole process design method including the pre planning,design,construction and post use evaluation stage,and analyzes the specific design elements and technical points.This paper summarizes the problems affecting the later use of the entrance waterscape base on real case study and resulting in a life cycle design strategy.This study goes through the whole process of entrance waterscape design in the He yuan Dong jiang International Garden project.The strategy and method are put into practice,and the design method is verified,followed by investigation and analysis of the project’s application,and the practical experience and shortcomings are summarized,and feedback them to the research process.Finally,a work framework for the integrated design of pre planning,design,operation and maintenance is constructed,and corresponding guiding principles are given for the planning and design of the entrance waterscape project at all stages.This paper brings up the life cycle design concept of residential entrance waterscape design,which involves the future operation,maintenance,sustainable and flexible development as the design premise.The related design concept and research methods can also be extended to a larger area of residential landscape design.
