With the development of a new round of scientific and technological revolution,artificial intelligence and other innovative technologies are changing the way of social production and life.The construction industry is facing the dual challenges of its own extensive development and the new crown pneumonia epidemic.It has become inevitable to vigorously promote the innovative development model of intelligent construction.Intelligent construction is the transformation and upgrading of the whole construction process driven by technology,and the innovative application of intelligent construction technology is the core of realizing intelligent construction.How to effectively improve the willingness of construction enterprises to adopt intelligent construction technology has become a key issue.Based on the theory of intelligent construction,intelligent construction technology,and information technology adoption,this research defines the scope of intelligent construction technology.Using the combination of TAM model and TOE framework as the research theoretical framework,the factors that affect the willingness of construction companies to adopt intelligent construction technology are determined from the objective level and the perception level,respectively.And put forward research hypotheses through theoretical derivation,so as to construct the research model of the willingness to adopt the intelligent construction technology of construction enterprises.Further combining with the semi-structured interview method initially proved the rationality of the model from a practical level.Based on the questionnaire survey method,the questionnaire is distributed through both online and offline channels.Combining the collected data from 388 valid questionnaires,SPSS20.0 and AMOS23.0 are used to test and modify the model until the model is acceptable,and on this basis,the differences in the influence paths of enterprises of different natures are further compared.The study found that:(1)The current exploration and application of 3D printing,robotics,augmented reality(AR)and virtual reality(VR)by construction companies are very limited.Compared with them,unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)widely used.(2)Including external and perceived factors that affect the willingness of construction enterprises to adopt intelligent construction technology,Cost has a significant negative impact on willingness to adopt.Perceived usefulness,organizational culture,competitive pressure,policy environment and perceived ease of use have a significant positive impact on the willingness to adopt.The influence of technological advantages and resource readiness on the willingness to adopt is not significant.(3)Competitive pressure and policy environment have significant effects on organizational culture,resource readiness,and technical advantages,respectively.Organizational culture and technical advantages have significant impact on perceived usefulness,and resource readiness and technical advantages have significant impact on perceived ease of use.Among perceptual level factors,perceived ease of use has a significant impact on perceived usefulness.(4)Comparing the differences in the influence path coefficients of intelligent construction technology adoption models for different types of enterprises.It is found that in the path of competition pressure to resource readiness,the path coefficient of state-owned enterprises is significantly higher.In the non-state-owned enterprise group,the path coefficients of competition pressure to organizational culture,technology cost to the willingness to adopt,and perceived usefulness to the willingness to adopt are significantly higher than the state-owned enterprise group.The innovation point of this study is to explore the willingness of construction enterprises to adopt intelligent construction technology by taking the technology system that can realize intelligent construction as the technology adoption object in the era of promoting intelligent construction development.It not only analyzes the relationship between external and perceptual influencing factors and the willingness to adopt,but also further compares the differences in the paths of influencing factors of different types of enterprises,and proposes targeted countermeasures.From a theoretical perspective,this research has enriched the research and exploration of intelligent construction,intelligent construction technology,and information technology adoption theory.From a practical perspective,this research provides practical support for solving the problem of insufficient willingness to adopt intelligent construction technology by construction enterprises.It is helpful to take targeted measures to promote the adoption and pilot application of intelligent construction technology by construction enterprises,thereby accelerating the transformation and upgrading of construction methods.
