| With the wide application of Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks(VANETs)in Intelligent Transportation Systems, the issue of vehicle security and privacy in VANETs has been widely concerned,so designing a secure and efficient authentication key agreement scheme suitable for the VANETs has become a hot direction. On the basis of avoiding the problems of certificate management, key escrow distribution and secure channel establishment, the certificate-based authentication key agreement can realize the secure authentication of identity and message among multiple entities, and can negotiate the session key quickly and efficiently,so as to establish secure communication. Therefore, the research of certificate-based authentication key agreement scheme has great practical significance in VANETs.This paper makes an in-depth study on the certificate-based authentication key agreement,including:(1)In view of the security communication problems between vehicles and RSU in VANETs,as well as the identity privacy leakage, vulnerability to internal and external attacks, low efficiency and other problems in the existing certificate-based two-party authentication key agreement scheme. We combin with certificate-based cryptography and elliptic curve cryptography, and put forward an certificate-based two-party authentication key agreement scheme which is suitable for VANETs.The safety analysis shows that the safety of the proposed scheme is proved under the elliptic curve decisional Diffie-Hellman assumpution. The performance analysis shows that the proposed scheme achieves higher efficiency in computation and communication cost compared with the existing schemes.(2)In view of the security communication problems among vehicles,RSU and cloud servers in the VANETs,as well as the high certificate management overhead, insecure key escrow and difficulties in the construction of secure channel existing in the existing tri-party authentication key scheme. We combine with certificate-based cryptography,three-factor cryptography and elliptic curve cryptography, and propose a certificate-based tri-party authentication key agreement scheme for VANETs.The safety analysis shows that the safety of the proposed scheme is proved under under the elliptic curve decisional Diffie-Hellman assumpution. The performance analysis shows that, compared with the existing schemes, the proposed scheme can achieve more functions without reducing efficiency. |
