With the gradual improvement of people’s requirements for travel quality,personalized travel needs are urgent to be met.With the union of the comfort of private transportation and the economics of public transportation,customized bus has gradually entered our lives.However,there are several problems encountering in the development of customized bus in China,which are insufficient bus attractiveness and insufficient passenger source mining.It leads to huge room for improvement.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the research on customized bus.This paper started from studying the location of the origin and destination area of the customized bus,and then discussed the method of determining the location of the customized bus stop in the origin and destination area.Finally,it established a route generation model for the customized bus in the origin and destination area and used an improved genetic algorithm to solve the problem.The following research is mainly carried out.(1)This article explored the feasibility of customized bus passengers travel demand analysis with online car-hailing data.Xi’an’s online car-hailing data was used to analyze passenger travel characteristics from temporal and spacial dimensions,and to dig out hot spots for passengers to get on and off the bus.The threshold of acceptable walking distance for passengers and the number of stops in the origin and destination area were considered to propose a customized bus origin and destination area coverage like a honeycomb.Then the location of the customized bus origin and destination area was determined.(2)The influence of the willingness to pay the customized bus on the clustering stations of travel demand was considered,the station locations were weighted.And the process of determining the location of customized bus stations was divided into two stages.In the first stage,the doubled walking distance was used as the clustering segmentation threshold of the agglomerative hierarchical clustering algorithm,and the stations to reduce the walking distance of passengers was clustered by the algorithm;in the second stage,the willingness to pay the customized bus was used as a weight to establish a weighted station location model which determined where to get the station location layout of origin and destination area for the customized bus.(3)The relationship between the willingness to pay the customized bus,passengers’ waiting time and ticket discounts were considered.The assumptions of establishing a customized bus origin and destination area route generation model were discussed.A customized bus route generation model was established,and the objective function of the model was to minimize the common benefit loss value of the customized bus operating company and the passengers.Also,the model considered the impact of factors such as vehicle capacity,line length,full load rate,discount rate,etc.An improved genetic algorithm adapted to the origin and destination area route generation model was used to solve the problem.Taking "Zhuquemen Area"-"Qujiang Road Interchange Area","Zhuque Avenue South Area"-"Wulukou Area" as examples,the customized bus route operation plans for weekdays and non-working days were determined.The two parameters of company profit rate and the adjustment coefficient were selected to perform sensitivity analysis on the operating results.The results showed that customized bus route plan of the non-working day was more sensitive to the above parameters.The research in this paper aims to provide new ideas for the station layout and route generation plan of customized bus in the origin and destination area,and can promote the further development of customized bus. |
