| With the continuous expansion of cities and the increasingly diversified pattern of urban roads,the adverse impact of road construction together with road traffic on the environment and ecosystem is gradually perceived,so that more importance is attached to the construction of road greenbelts.However,there exist some problems in their development,such as encroachment by parking spaces and buildings,and insufficient attention to the maintenance and management.In Northeast China,a lack of effective evaluation systems to scientifically identify the achievements and the existing problems of road greenbelt construction can be seen.Changchun,the capital of Jilin Province in northeast China,has given more priority to the road greenbelts in recent years,which shows that there is a need to improve the quality of greenbelts and fully exploit the potential of road greenbelts as an effective way to improve the urban ecological environment,thus enhancing the image of the city.Adopting Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and Delphi method,this study made a comprehensive evaluation of the plant landscape of the main road in the central city of Changchun,and managed to find out the existing problems,based on which put forward corresponding optimization suggestions.By these actions,the study aims to provide theoretical reference for the construction of the road greenbelt,including its renewal and reconstruction,making the road greenbelt plant landscape become a kind of landscape with order and certain patterns,so as to elevate people’s attention to the road greenbelt and improve the overall image of the city.The results of the study are as follows:(1)The current situation of the greenbelt plant landscape of the main roads in the central city of Changchun is grasped.This study performed an analysis of 27 sample greeenbelts,and analyzed the results from five aspects: common tree species,plant application,plant diversity,plant seasonal phase and greenbelt level.(2)The evaluation system of the plant landscape of the main road greenbelt in the central city of Changchun is constructed.By referring to relevant standards,previous research results and experts’ opinion,it is determined that the plant landscape evaluation of main road greenbelts in the central city of Changchun is the target layer,ecological function,aesthetic function and safety function are the guideline layers,and 13 items such as green space rate and plant morphology are the indicator layers.The weight calculation shows that the indicators with higher weights are more in the safety function and ecological function guideline layer and less in the aesthetic function guideline layer,indicating that experts believe that the degree of aesthetics of visual quality is less important.(3)The plant landscape of the main road greenbelt in the central city of Changchun is evaluated to clarify the existing problems.According to the scores of each index,combined with the system index weights,the comprehensive score was calculated to derive the comprehensive evaluation grade of greenbelts.Among the 27 road sample belts,14 main road greenbelts were rated as Class I landscape,11 main road greenbelts were rated as Class II landscape,and 2 main road greenbelts were rated as Class III landscape.Through the analysis of the evaluation results,it is concluded that there still exist some problems in the construction of greenbelt plant landscape,including lack of the variety of plant species,especially winter ones,,a shortage of landscape layers,as well as the potential danger it may cause.(4)Optimization suggestions are put forward and road greenbelt patterns are summarized.In view of the existing problems,this paper put forward optimization suggestions such as enriching greenbelt plant species,strengthening maintenance management,increasing greenbelt levels,enriching seasonal landscape,and eliminating safety hazards in time.And nine kinds of road greenbelt patterns are summarized,including three kinds of street tree greenbelt patterns,four divided strip greenbelt patterns and two roadside greenbelt patterns,which can better assist the road greenbelt plant landscape to play ecological,aesthetic and safety functions.This study is conducive to promoting the process of greenbelt plant landscape construction in the central city of Changchun.It also enriches the evaluation system of road greenbelt plant landscape,providing reference for the construction of road greenbelts in other cities. |
