| The road-greenbelt is an important part composing urban landscape and urban green space system, which can improve urban environment, shape urban landscape and make the city more beautiful. Road Greening is an important step for building Green Nanjing, while Nanjing takes the Ecological Garden City as aim. So it is valuable to study the existed plants-landscape of main road-greenbelts in Nanjing urban area, analyze its advantage and disadvantage, and discuss the orientation.The old urban area and the new area of Nanjing were studied in this paper, and 157 main road-greenbelts were investigated. Firstly it applies vegetation ecology methods such as community species composition, community quantitative features, community structure, population age structure and community similarity coefficient etc., and analyze the characteristic of the ornamental. Based on the through investigation and analysis, 20 typical plant-landscape road-greenbelts were compared on vision and ecological benefit between two urban areas. The main results are as follows:1. In the new urban area, plant species are abundant. However in the two areas the indigenous plants are lack, and the plant-landscape of road-greenbelts is similar, for a few species are applied abroad. And the cross section and the vertical structure in new urban area is more multiple than in old urban area. However there are more old trees in old urban area and plant-landscape of some road needs rebuilding, when the plant-landscape in new urban area is steady with more little trees.2. The species and application frequency of the flowers is more abundant in new urban area, but the anthesis is mainly in summer in the two areas. The autumn fruits species are most, while the spring fruits are least. And the two areas are shot for foliage plants.3. The result of multifactorial appraisal showed the quality of plant-landscape of road-greenbelts is better and the difference among different road is more prominent in old urban area than in new area.In the end the characteristic of plant-landscape of road-greenbelts in the two areas was summarize, and some advices were brought forward to build ecological, artistic, mulriple, humanistic plant-landscape of road-greenbelt. |
