Study On Objective Evaluation Method Of Vehicle Handling And Stability

Vehicle handling and stability is an important part of vehicle active safety and the basic performance of vehicle chassis performance.It not only affects the driver’s handling convenience,but also determines the vehicle’s high-speed safe driving.Therefore,effective and objective evaluation of vehicle handling and stability becomes the key to the whole chassis development and verification benchmarking.Due to the late start of China’s automobile industry,chassis performance development mostly relies on foreign technical forces,and the evaluation of handling and stability also has a certain gap compared with foreign countries.The evaluation methods of vehicle handling and stability are divided into subjective evaluation and objective evaluation.The main problem of this paper is the objective evaluation of vehicle handling and stability.The purpose of this paper is to establish a comprehensive and effective evaluation scheme of vehicle handling and stability.It mainly studies the objective evaluation system,specific test scheme and objective test algorithm of vehicle handling and stability.The specific research contents include the following aspects:1.Objective evaluation system.In this paper,the objective evaluation standards of vehicle handling and stability at home and abroad and some representative enterprise standards are extensively investigated and summarized.All test evaluation indexes are extracted and summarized,and the evaluation contents are classified.The dynamic meaning of each evaluation index is analyzed.Combined with the current objective evaluation needs,the evaluation indexes are simplified,combined,added and eliminated,and a more comprehensive customer satisfaction evaluation system is established The evaluation system of view.2.Objective test method.In this paper,based on the analysis of the existing objective test methods,combined with the objective evaluation index requirements,a set of vehicle handling and stability evaluation scheme is established,including 11 test conditions,and the characteristic physical quantities are matched for each test condition for the evaluation index calculation.3.Objective experimental algorithm research.In this paper,on the basis of the evaluation scheme of vehicle handling and stability,the mathematical significance and calculation method of the characteristic physical quantity of each test condition are studied,and the data processing algorithm of each test condition is designed based on the test data.4.Objective test evaluation result verification.In this paper,the real vehicle field test is carried out according to the set of objective evaluation scheme,the required characteristic physical quantities are collected,the evaluation indexes are calculated,and the specific working condition test results are obtained.Through the analysis of the test results,the handling and stability evaluation results of the test vehicle are obtained.By comparing the objective evaluation results with the subjective evaluation results of the test vehicle,it shows that the results are consistent,which verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the evaluation scheme established in this paper.The vehicle handling and stability test scheme established in this paper will help to more comprehensively characterize the vehicle handling and stability performance,reflect the comprehensive performance of the chassis,and then guide the chassis performance adjustment.
