As a kind of means of production,the reliability and operating capacity of the LCV will be paid closest attention by customers.Along with the rapid expansion of the LCV technic and the customers rejuvenation,the request of vehicle handling stability from the customer will become higher and higher.The load uncertainty of LCV has a big influence to the vehicle handling stability.How to build a comprehensive evaluation system on steering stability of LCV,how to translate the customers’ language to technical language and correspond to the objective test index will be a very important subject.This thesis mainly focused to the study of how to build a comprehensive evaluation system on steering stability of LCV,how to translate the customers’ language to technical language and correspond to the objective test index.1.It was found that uesrs were more concerned about the stability of vehicle alignment,turning,lanes chaning,high-speed driving and the performance of turning characteristics,steering lightness,steering returnpositivity,steering follow-up,curve driving through market research and analysis.We collected user’s language and normalized the language.Based on the user’s commodity evaluation system was constructed.2.We translate uesr language into profeesional language.Through the research of user concern,the evaluation system of handling stability is summarized into four items: Vehicle straightness(straightness ability,driving wandering)、the stability of high-speed driving、.the performance of steering lightness(pivot steering,extremely low-speed steering)、the performance of steering returnpositivity.Based on the testing engineer professional subjuective evaluation system is constructed.3.We correspond profeesional language to objective test indicators.Objective testing includs Vehicle straightness;driving wandering;high-speed driving stability;pivot steering;extremely low-speed steering;steering returnpositivity.4.We summarized the recommended range of objectively measured values,provide data support for vehicle performance goal setting and guide the system designer to complete the design correctly though the benchmarking analysis of middle level,high-mid level,high level vehicles.In this paper,we study to achieve the comprehensive handling stability evaluation system of Light Commercial Vehicle,which contributes to interpret market user’s expression to professional statements,meanwhile also corresponds those statements to objective test specification.The vehicle development designer makes target setting and analysis easily in the design concept stage,checks whether to reach design target or not through objective tests in the vehicle trial production stage.After the mass production and launch in the market,the designer can also improve the parts quickly that users complain,enhance the users’ satisfaction,raise the product’s competitive ability.The study provides certain reference value for establishing the handling stability evaluation system of similar vehicles.
