In 2020,the outbreak of the new crown disease was so severe that it had a major impact on social and economic development and people’s living habits,including agricultural wholesale markets,and people realized the importance of public health and food safety.During the post-epidemic period of control and Prevention in our country,the cluster infection of new crown disease occurred many times in the wholesale market of agricultural trade.As a fast-developing new first-tier city,Qingdao is chosen as a case study,which makes the research results have a strong reference and practical significance.In this paper,the vegetable and non-staple food wholesale market in Fushun Road,Qingdao is taken as the research object,based on the experience of excellent cases,this paper analyzes the general problems existing in the wholesale market of agricultural trade under the background of epidemic situation and the necessity of its reform,and then introduces the theory to construct the reform strategy of universal wholesale market of agricultural trade,in the context of the post-epidemic era,from the perspective of architectural environment,crowd psychological factors and behavior patterns as well as elastic space,combining research methods such as literature research,Case Study,Field Research,questionnaire survey,interview and summary,this paper summarizes and analyzes the information of the internal and external environment,the spatial distribution,the commercial form,and the crowd usage of the sample market,so as to interpret the current market space’s tough demand from various angles and think about the impact of the epidemic situation,at the same time,it puts forward the flexible development mode of changing the traditional old market mode,combining the wisdom idea to improve the quality of market form,excavating the potential social value,and puts forward the reform design and development strategy of vegetable wholesale food market in Fushun Road.Through the research,we found that the current market situation is tight in land use and old in functional forms,all kinds of streamline lines in the market cross each other,and the physical environment quality is poor,can not meet all kinds of users in the epidemic normalization of today’s changes in the market use of the new demand,become urban pain point problem.Through the transformation plan,we will create a semi-open market,improve the market function,order the traffic flow of the site,improve the quality of the market environment,and increase the elasticity of the use of the market space,and enhance the toughness of the space,to meet the needs of users for public space security in the post-epidemic era.It is concluded that the reconstruction design of traditional agricultural wholesale market can not only satisfy the needs of users but also keep the space vitality of agricultural wholesale market in the city.With a view to complement and improve the current post-epidemic era of agricultural wholesale market building reconstruction theory,as well as the development of China’s agricultural wholesale market building to make a useful attempt,in particular,it provides a reference for the construction of the similar wholesale market in Qingdao.
