| Water is an important resource for the development of villages.Water environment has a great impact on the spatial form and development mode of villages. However,in the current process of water environment construction in traditional villages, most of them copy the concept of urban waterscape planning into the countryside, ignore the importance of traditional water culture, destroy and replace the original layout mode of water environment; And in the construction of waterscape space, the planning mode is the same, without the combination of regional culture and villagers’ living habits. How to enhance the villagers’ sense of belonging and identity to the waterfront environment and create a waterfront activity space with local characteristics is an important issue in the study of Traditional Village waterfront environment space.Taking Ziwu village,a traditional waterfront village in Huizhou,as the research object, this paper aims to explore the relationship between villagers’ activities and water environment space.Firstly, this paper describes the traditional villages in Huizhou and their water environment places, and makes a specific investigation on the water environment space of Ziwu village, combing the water form and waterscape elements in the place, and summarizes the current situation of the water environment space of the village. Then, the GNSS handheld devices are used to track the villagers’ trajectory in the village, and the distribution characteristics of villagers’ trajectory in the water environment space and other spaces are compared and analyzed. It is found that the action paths in the waterfront area are more abundant and dense, and the trajectory kernel density image is analyzed by taking the point, linear and area spaces in the village as examples. The study also screened the speed of the villagers’ action path, and discussed the correlation between the action mode and water environment place under different speed. It was found that the point space such as quay, bridge and intersection would affect the speed of action, while the linear space such as water street and inner street would increase the speed of action. On this basis, the researchers observed the behavior of villagers in water environment places, explored their distribution characteristics from the aspects of behavior frequency, behavior density and regional behavior, and used cluster analysis to classify waterfront areas, analyzed the relationship between various types of space and behavior distribution, and found that viewing behavior was highly affected by spatial openness,Recreational behaviors are closely related to accessibility, while life behaviors are strongly related to hydrophilicity and accessibility. Finally, based on the research of villagers’ path mode and behavior law,the optimization guidelines of water environment space are put forward: 1)dredge the underground channels and gullies in the water environment, interweave and complement the water forms of Yiyuan River, water channel and fish pond, and form a living water cycle ecosystem combining the middle line and surface of the village.2)In order to enrich the spatial types of water environment and enhance the vitality of villagers’ behavior, the relevant spatial factors such as hydrophilicity and openness are flexibly combined in the place.3)The specific design scheme of the village’s water environment space, including the construction facilities, architectural style, water green plants, road organization and other spatial characteristics into the design process, and the ecological design and humanized transformation of the Village waterfront. The research has a certain guiding significance for the planning and design of the water environment space of Huizhou traditional villages, and has practical significance for the protection and development of waterfront traditional villages. |
