Research On Evolutionary Relevance Of Chinese Traditional Lifestyle And Residential Interior Space

The study of traditional Chinese interior design usually takes the dynasty as the boundary,and studies the indoor environment components of each dynasty,mainly focusing on architecture,furniture,furnishings,etc.,and because of the relationship between historical sites and the nature of ancient Chinese society,the main research Some are official buildings such as palaces and temples.In fact,architecture comes from life,the indoor environment is inseparable from people’s daily lives,and residential is the most frequently contacted type of building in people’s lives.Therefore,by taking the lifestyle as an entry point,study the evolution of the interior space of traditional Chinese residences,return to the fundamentals of interior design,and find the relationship between interior space and life.In the research process,the timeline of each dynasty was weakened.The structure of the residential indoor space was used as a framework.It was divided into five stages: the birth,development,shaping,redevelopment,and finalization of the residential interior space.At each stage,the main residential types are studied,from small-scale civilian residences to large-scale palaces,which involve four aspects:architecture,indoor functional space,indoor interface,and furniture,and bring the lifestyle into all aspects to find their relevance.At each stage of the evolution process,when embodying the change of a certain feature or phenomenon,focus on its universality and completeness;those that have appeared in the previous stage and are not representative will not be discussed again.Looking at the evolution of the interior space in combination with the ancients ’lifestyles,the development stage can be summarized as the generation of caves to ground architecture,the basic order of interior space based on ritual culture,and the interior life during the period of living on the ground.The creation of indoor space during the transformation of "foot",the indoor life in the period of sitting down.The study found that the lifestyle and the evolution of the residential indoor space have a mutual influence,and the former has a greater influence on the latter,and summarizes the development characteristics of the residential indoor space and the lifestyle.
