With the operation of rail transit in more and more cities, the mode of connecting rail transit and non-motor vehicle transfer has been favored by people. While enjoying its convenience,it has also brought a series of problems to the city: due to the random parking of non-motor vehicles, the city image has been destroyed; In the vicinity of some stations with relatively concentrated connections of non-motor vehicles, there is a shortage of parking Spaces for non-motor vehicles, resulting in a large number of nonmotor vehicles parked at random outside these parking lots, which has a great impact on urban traffic and non-motor vehicle travel efficiency. Therefore, under the above background, the planning of non-motor vehicle parking Spaces at each station of rail transit is imperative, and its core content is to determine a reasonable number of parking Spaces.Firstly, this paper classifies the types of rail transit stations through cluster analysis. In suzhou city rail transit line 1 as a case study, through the division of urban rail transit site types as the guidance, comprehensive consideration of rail transit site own properties, and factors related to the surrounding environment, using the K-means clustering analysis method, the rail transit sites on these factors variables quantitatively similar calculations,The 24 stations of Line 1 are divided into residential stations, commercial stations, general stations and connecting stations. Then, four types of typical stations are selected to analyze the parking characteristics of non-motor vehicles connected to them.Based on the classification of rail transit stations, the typical stations are selected to analyze the parking characteristics of different types of rail transit stations connected with non-motor vehicles, and the overall parking characteristics and current status characteristics of rail transit stations connected with non-motor vehicles are summarized. Then, the Logit model is established to predict the non-motor vehicle parking demand.Based on a questionnaire survey of rail transit passengers in Suzhou, this paper analyzes the factors influencing the choice of travel mode by transfer and connecting travelers, and calibrates the model with SPSS 25.0,and establishes several Logit models. After testing,a predictable model is provided for each mode of transportation to calculate the sharing rate of each mode of transportation. Then,a method based on classified parking turnover was established. The number of parking Spaces was calculated by considering factors such as the classified parking turnover rate and the willingness of non-motor vehicles to switch,so as to ensure that the scale of non-motor vehicle connection facilities was sufficient. Finally, four types of typical rail transit stations are selected as research cases to accurately predict the number of parking Spaces connected to non-motor vehicles at each station, which is instructive to optimize and adjust the existing parking facilities and study the planning of new parking facilities.
