Study On Protection And Utilization Strategy Of Industrial Building Heritage In Xi’an Instrument Factory

Xi’an,as an important city in Northwest China,has vigorously developed industry in the key periods of "the first five-year plan "," the third line" plan,reform and opening up,and left a large number of Industrial Building Heritage.But now,the times have changed,the development of new technologies has promoted the change of policy,the demand and pattern of cities have gradually changed,and these Industrial Building Heritage have been destroyed to varying degrees because of the decline of factories.The improper utilization of Industrial Building Heritage is a waste of urban resources.At present,there have been many studies and practices on the protection and utilization of Industrial Building Heritage at home and abroad,but Xi’an shows a strong lag in this respect,and in recent years,the resistance to urban development has become more and more serious.Xi’an Instrumentation Factory was once one of the key projects in China’s first five-year plan.It was built by Dongde.It is the first large-scale instrument factory in China.It has made great contributions to the domestic instrument industry and is the only Bauhaus-style industrial complex in Xi’an.The production building was once the iconic building in the western suburb of Xi’an.Both production technology and construction technology were in the leading position at that time.In 2016,Xi ’ an announced 15 first batches of outstanding modern architectural heritage;in 2017,the second batch announced 15 and added 5 pre-protected buildings.After 2017,the urban and county governments can reflect historical and local characteristics,not declared as cultural relic protection units,including excellent modern and modern architectural heritage,are collectively known as "historical buildings".In 2019,Xi’an Natural Resources Planning Bureau published the Protection Planning of Xi’an Historical and Cultural City,with 136 historical buildings and locations;in 2021,Xi’an Xi’an People’s Government announced 30 historical buildings.Xi’an Instrument Factory is one of the first batch of excellent modern architectural heritage in 2016,but until today,few research on Xi’an Instrument Factory and its protection and utilization work cannot have been promoted.Xi’an Instrument Factory is the epitome of most current industrial architectural heritage of Xi’an,so this paper focuses on the representative industrial architectural heritage of Xi ’ an Instrument Factory and research on its protection and utilization strategy.This author takes the industrial construction heritage of Xi ’ an Instrument Factory as the main research object and its protection and utilization as the research content.By review the relevant research and literature at home and abroad,understand the research trends in the field,summarize the industrial development process,distribution pattern,building type,characteristics,protection and utilization examples,and compare the theoretical and practical difficulties and problems of industrial construction heritage protection and utilization.Through in-depth field investigation of Xi’an Instrument Factory,it excavated the historical information of Xi’an Instrument Factory,completely restored the original appearance of the construction,design and development of Xi ’ an Instrument Factory,studied and analyzed its location characteristics and layout evolution,and clarified the style changes in different periods.The industrial architectural heritage in Xi ’ an Instrument Factory was summarized and analyzed from the construction history,architectural characteristics,internal space design and facade design,sorted out the internal environment and the surrounding environment of the factory,analyzed the difficulties of protection and utilization work,and put forward the core problems to be solved.To determine the value composition and important influencing factors of industrial construction heritage through theoretical research,propose various value characteristics of Xi’an Instrument Factory,and clarify the availability of industrial construction heritage of Xi’an Instrument Factory from four aspects of usable resources,economy,environment and availability of the building itself.Explore the protection and utilization mode applicable to Xi ’ an Instrument Plant from the four aspects of the overall plant,single buildings,structures and intangible materials.Xi ’ an Instrument Factory is rooted in the urban area,from the relationship with the city,the overall style of the factory and the single buildings,the protection and utilization strategies respectively.The research on the industrial architectural heritage of Xi’an instrument factory can enrich and perfect the historical information of Xi’an instrument factory and instrument Industrial Building Heritage,and provide missing and valuable historical data for the follow-up study of Xi’an Industrial Building Heritage.It provides reference and reference for the development of Industrial Building Heritage protection and utilization in Xi’an.
